Ambiance, graciousness and delicious!

Went here for dinner after asking the locals to recommend a place to eat. I had the vegetarian creole meal and it was exceptional, my wife had the biggest juiciest steak that I have seen in a long time. Am pleased that we left the resort to visit The Coal Pot

The restaurant is in a quiet location with a view for the inner bay and not crowded at all. The food is very good and it allows you to relax and switch off! Brilliant hidden gem in my perception.

We enjoyed the friendly waitstaff and it being so close by the docks where we got back from Deep Sea Fishing. We were at first confused by the pricing on the menu but after being told it was Carribean currency it was reasonably priced. Portions were small but the food was delicious. The little cole slaws on the side were... More

Great atmosphere, awesome pumpkin soup, and curry seafood. Loved the tables sitting right at the water.

The food was amazing--the only thing that was better was the view. The restaurant features beautiful ceramic pieces, one of which I really loved and regret I didn't purchase.

If you're in Castries, this is the place to hit up. The Coal Pot is tucked on the other side of the bay where the ships come in- if you don't get a cab, you'll be walking a good 20 minutes. Use that 20 minutes to work up an appetite though! The restaurant is a real getaway- sits right on... More

This Restaurant has a really nice atmosphere. The Staff are friendly and the Seafood is amazing!.. I enjoyed the pumpkin bisque and Tuna. The tables are right on the water. It is not a beach but the gentle waves wash up. Sometimes you can see an octopus or eel under the rocks..

The food was really good and the setting is amazing. The service was very good and we did not have to wait long for food or drinks. If you're in St. Lucia, you should visit this restaurant.
