Expensive for the island but worth every penny. Hidden away outside Castries the setting is enchanting especially at night. The food is the best I have had on the island. If your in St Lucia this is a must.

Visited here early August 2014 and had an excellent lunch. The location is lovely, service quick and food quality was excellent. Not cheap, but the you get what you pay for, and we felt the food, location and service justified the price. It is very tucked away right next to the Castries airport runway and we are glad we had a... More

Don't see what all the fuss is about, this was just an ok and expensive restaurant. Meh, won't be back next time we visit St Lucia

Excellent lobster. Fresh, perfectly cooked and really tasty. I'll be back on the island again next week & I'll return to this restaurant.

Went here as a special off resort lunch. Well worth the trip for some true local flavors and ingredients. I had seen this place as a feature on chronicle and it did not disappoint!

We ate at the Coalpot restaurant on Monday evening. It was a great experience. The building is delightful. With open sides to catch the breezes off the water, we sat and watched as the boats pulled in to the jetty opposite as the sun went down. The atmosphere was lovely, intimately lit by candles, and soft lights. The food was... More

Food is terrible and management is completely oblivious to that. I would hate to see what their kitchen looks like. I think Gordon Ramsey would have a hey day here.

Truly great food in a truly great location in the old harbour. Daytime and night visits work equally well. Junior is a fantastic waiter and if you are lucky you'll get him at the pink plantation too!

Pink Plantation has the view, but Coal Pot has the same fair for less! Located at the end of the runway at Castries airport, it's a nice little hideaway with outstanding service and food! My wife and I wanted some lunch and were treated to delicious drinks, crab back, lobster bisque, lobster tail, and barracuda for under $150. Believe me,... More

The ambience, views and food were all perfect! We went last night after reading TA reviews and were glad we did! The service was excellent and welcoming. We had the coquille st jacques - superb; the pumpkin soup- excellent and the dorado (mahi mahi) with 3 of their sauces - amazing! The dessert was also excellent (creme brûlée). If you... More
