We were recommended this restaurant by a friend of our daughter who lives on the island and so arranged to go there. It was some way - a 20 minute bus/taxi ride - from our hotel but we had arranged to go to nearby Castries, which by the way was really disappointing, and then have a dinner there. In the... More

This restaurant is tucked away and sits in a little harbour. Its extremely pretty. The crab starter I had was so delicious that I thought about it for days! (Sad I know!) I went there in the day but at night I'm sure its even prettier. Well worth a visit.

We visited for dinner having read the TA reviews and weren't disappointed. Upon arrival you immediately know it is going to be a memorable meal; a warm welcome, simple decor and a waterside location. Service is attentive and food served promptly. The fish is the freshest ever and the tuna was amongst the best I've ever had. Can't wait to... More

WOW! In one word.. The food was delicious. Staff were very welcoming and grabbed your attention from the moment you entered the resturant. The ambiance- ON TOP! .. What really made this dinner special was the atmosphere. I sat having dinner and watched sea crabs and fishes swim right next to my table. You must visit #CoalPot ... Evening well... More

We went to Coal Pot several years ago on our first trip to St. Lucia. We loved it so much we always talked about going back. We'd read more recent reviews before this trip and were worried that the food and service had slipped after a change in ownership. Nope! Whatever problems they had were sorted out by the time...
