We had lunch here and the food was very good, especially the native soup. It was a little too quiet and the wait staff was not very effusive or friendly. They were efficient.

This spot is almost impossible to find but well worth the effort. Once you get there, you are seated right next to a narrow branch of the bay that Castries sits on. The owner is also a locally renowned potter and the serving ware is all hand made (and beautifully painted). Her work is available to purchase. We had seafood... More

Loved the location outside right on the water, very comfortable, beautiful surroundings and artwork, the servers were very helpful with suggestions, and the food was plentiful and absolutely delicious!

We have been visiting this restaurant for about nine years and we are never disappointed. It is one of two of our favorites.

We chose to eat here for the final night of our honeymoon on this wonderful Caribbean island. We knew the restaurant had a great reputation, and was known particularly for its sauces and artwork (created by the owner). We were not disappointed on either account. The ginger sauce over the dorado was excellent, and the mahi mahi with the butter... More

Huge platters of delicious creole food are served waterside. You find yourself being lulled into the island vibe when suddenly a jet lands at the airport next door or a helicopter shudders overhead - which just adds to the charm of the place. Pretty colorful pottery is sold here too.

The Coal Pot is a hidden local gem frequented by business men at lunch time. We had lunch there at the recommendation of our Realtor. It's a bit difficult to find but worth the search. I had the pumpkin soup and goat-cheese salad. My husband had the onion soup and chicken Cesar salad. The service was impeccable. The prices are... More

An excellent place for an atmospheric, waterside dining experience. Certainly one of the best, if not the best, meal we've had while in St. Lucia. Make sure you reserve a table by the waterfront. Staff were very attentive and the food was fantastic. Fish dishes, including dressed crab as a starter, were both reasonably priced and tasted fresh. Portions too... More
