We visited this beautiful restaurant for our Anniversary having been on several occasions in the past on visits to St Lucia. We love everything about it! The setting is outstanding, right next to the water's edge. The food was superb ~ starters, main courses and desserts. The service was superb, with special mention to Portia who helped to make our... We went to Coal Pot several years ago on our first trip to St. Lucia. We loved it so much we always talked about going back. We'd read more recent reviews before this trip and were worried that the food and service had slipped after a change in ownership. Nope! Whatever problems they had were sorted out by the time... We dined at a table on a bay with lights. The food was fresh and lovely and the service was wonderful. A delightful evening.

The Coal Pot is a never-miss restaurant. The food is always excellent and reasonably priced. It's the ultimate power lunch spot, the ultimate, "impress your client" spot. We've taken many a client there and every single one walked away loving it. It's also a great place for lunch with your spouse.

The restaurant is almost like being on a barge afloat the river, it's very quirky and comfortable, with great food and the service was exceptional. I would definitely recommend a trip out and will be returning!

Dinner was very nice and service was good. All the staff was attentive, friendly and professional. We ordered crab back as appetizer and also the calamari creole. For main course we had fish; the dolphin w ginger sauce and red snapper grilled w/o sauce. For dessert we decided on crème brulee and ganache cake & espresso. All the food was... More
