We arrived at Dasheene right as they opened for lunch. I'd read on Trip Advisor that as long as a meal was purchased there was not a visitor fee for those not guests of Ladera. Upon entering, the sign describing so was somewhat confusing confusing and really made it sound like it didn't matter if you ate or not, the... More

Breakfast>Lunch>Dinner, Dasheene delivers on quality Caribbean cusine, consistently. Try the cocoa rubbed lamb, fish of the day, fishcake, and their desserts. Their wine selection is superb.

You can't beat the view at Dasheene! Looking out on the Pitons and down on Sugar Beach was breath-taking. The food was excellent. I had the curry chicken which was very flavorful. My family enjoyed their meals as well. If you go, ask for a table that is not against the wall and under lights. We had to fight off... More

Very impressed with the menu and the wine list. We dined there five out of seven nights at the resort.

We came early for cocktails and appetizers. We watched the sunset behind the pitons and listened to a reggae band. We munched on plantain chips with dip and sipped delicious fruity drinks. Out dinner was good. The service was a little slow but our waitress was very kind. I think she had a lot of tables to tend to for... More

Good food and an amazingly unique view. Unfortunately the welcomer/maitre'd didn't give a good 1st impression and seemed like she didn't want to sit any tables...... but lets ignore that! :)

The food changes every two nights so, expect a varied menu. Everything they served us was interesting and great. The only thing that kept this review from being a 5/5 is that I ordered the vegetarian special one night and it took almost 1.5 hours to come out. The hostess was very apologetic (the whole rest of our stay she... More

The view over sugar beach is superb! The food unfortunately was mediocre. I had the shrimps which were pretty favourless. The restaurant said they did gluten free food. I found it frustrating that I was served two gluten dishes despite my gluten free request

We were looking for a change from Boucan and went across the street to Dasheene. One thing we totally forgot to do was schedule dinner before sunset, because I kept thinking that 7 pm was the right time. It was summertime and I forgot that sunset doesn't change as much since it's so close to the equator. The food was... More
