Amazing view, and good food. We had a delightful lunch there. Be prepared to pay a premium above the value of the food--but it's absolutely worth it for the view. Note for picky people: waitstaff wasn't trained in finer points of service one might expect at a resort of this caliber (for instance, they made me keep my utensils between... More

St. Lucia is a dream come true. Our driver made a 6:30 reservation, but the restaurant had no record of it. Knowing our driver, his credibility trumps theirs. Okay, we're seated at a great table, so stop complaining! Thank you. We order cocktails, which arrive much, much later. Much later. After the entree arrives. That's okay. It's vacation. The appetizer--mahi-mahi... More

Nibble on salt-cod fritters and sip your rum drink, as you watch the sun sink into the Caribbean and color the clouds a glowing pink--right between the twin Pitons (extinct volcanoes shaped like witches' hats)--an incredible view. And definitely stay for dinner. We had fish hot pot, and Creole lobster--both delicious. And our waitress, Elizabeth, was a hoot as well... More

Ladera and Jade Mountain topped my list for high end restaurants in St Lucia. Everything was spectacular at Dasheene. We walked in without reservations and they were able to provide us with a table overlooking the pitons (in the dark). The view is so much better here than Boucan because you are literally situated between the pitons with a view... More

What a beautiful restaurant! With a view of the spectacular Pitons, how could you go wrong?? The food was delightful, well-presented, and our service was great. Very attentive waitstaff. Two of us had the lobster burger (great!), lemon picatta sandwich (lovely), and the seafood fettucine with creole sauce (wonderful). Nice wine list. If you are visiting St. Lucia, you need... More

As guests of the Ladera Hotel, we were pleasantly surprised to find that our hotel's restaurant is one of the finest on the island, and a popular destination for foodies in the know. Start with the view and atmosphere. The Ladera and Dasheene overlook a spectacular view of Pitons and the bay. Close enough that you feel you can almost... More

The lunch menu was fine - nothing spectacular - but we came here for the view - and for that we were not disappointed. After some persuading, they kindly allowed our table for 4 to be front row, where we enjoyed the best view in the Caribbean. The blackened mahi mahi was delicious, as was the mixed seafood. The wine... More

I was expecting more, having heard that this was one of the best restaurants on the island. unfortunately, we were disappointed. The food was good, but by no means great and the service left something to be desired. I had duck breast (although they originally brought me pork). It was tasty, but tough. In truth, I make better duck at... More
