Tried to go to the restaurant next door but when it wasn't open stumbled on La Gloriette. Little else open on a Sunday in September so why not? This place is all about the location. And what a great one it is, tables in the sand on the beach. Pizza was certainly passable, the margarita pizza even better than average.... More

This family run restaurant on Grand cul de Sac is a great example of great food at good prices. The chef is constantly coming up with new dishes that compare with the best on the island. If it's not raining grab a table outside with the beach and water at your feet. Order a cold drink and the lobster cassolette... More

We stopped at La Gloriette after a recommendation for a very reliable source that La Gloriette served the best Pizzas on St Barths. Unfortunately, we arrived for lunch only to learn that the pizzas are only served in the evenings ! Our lunchtime experience was pretty average. Mrs FB2000's Chicken was fairly ordinary whilst my Camembert was unusual - it... More

The title says it all: Great location mediocre food. We were here for lunch. Service is so so. The cevice was good, the octopus stew not. The rose was overpriced.

La Gloriette combines beach, vistas, lunch and rhum vanilla. This great combination is a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. Food is great --- especially the exotic seafood salad. An assortment of appetizers is a good way to start with a bottle (or 2) of French rose wine. Three hours at lunch punctuated with vanilla rum locally made for an... More

If you're in the mood for good, inexpensive food with your feet in the sand, a trip to La Gloriette is necessary! The pizza was outstanding, the service was solid and the atmosphere is hard top top.

The atmosphere can't be beat. Laid back, feet in the sand, no need for shoes, picturesque view of the water. Then you have the food and realize this place is the total package. We were a group of 5 and EVERYONE loved their meal. Every bite was amazing. My favorites were the Lobster Casolette (sp) and the sweet mashed potatoes... More

Noticed that many of the photos from customers were NOT La Gloriette but were Au Corail...the attached dive shop restaurant next door.....oops. The space is close but La Gloriette has been here and used to occupy the total space 16 years ago. La Gloriette is under the cocoloba trees so that the tables allow the authentic feet-in-sand experience. We have... More

Nothing fancy at all, but very good pizzas with a wide selection, including white pizzas. Feet in the sand, by the sea with a breeze. Good deserts as well. The owner is unfortunately a bit rigid and not overly welcoming, but the location is fabulous and after a while she may spoil you with smile, if on a good day... More

La Gloriette came highly recommended but we found it a little disappointing. The food was ok but nothing special, the service likewise and the price was high for what it was. We didn't rate it but it's always busy so maybe we are in the minority.
