Pleasant Spot on the Harbour

We have been to Le Repaire a number of times over the past 5 years. I have learned that the catch of the day is invariably the best thing to order and all but two of our 10 person "business group" had it last Friday and were pleased. Frankly, the two that did not were not very pleased as the... read more

Had an impromptu lunch here on Sunday, mainly because most of the other restaurants in Gustavia were closed. The service was fine, albeit a bit...'French'. But very helpful once we ordered. Great cocktail-list! Only downsides were that it's quite expensive, and that the chicken in the Chicken Caesar Salad was raw on the inside. When mentioned to waiter we got... More

Le Repaire offers a good classic French meal and allows for good drinks for shoppers during the day. I regret saying this, but if you've taken the Ferry over from St. Martin you can wait for the boat here while sipping drinks. Our dinner was good, with certain dishes far exceeding expectations and others being around average. I'd go again... More

During our recent Caribbean cruise we stopped at Gustavia twice. Both times we decided to have our wine and lunch at Le Repaire. The prices were reasonable and the food excellent. Service was outstanding both times. Be sure to try to foie gras appetizer - the real thing and a large portion - and the moulle frittes if they have... More

An absolutely terrible experience. We were the 3rd table to sit down. We sat down right in front of the bar and both staff members. A number of tables sat themselves several minutes after us. The server waited on every table that arrived after us prior to even acknowledging we existed. Some even received food and we still hadn't been... More

Lovely restaurant just at the beginning of town. Enjoyed a healthy Salad Nicoise, with excellent service. Would go back.

An open air French restaurant right across the street from the ferry landing. They have a full service bar, and the kitchen is visible from the dining room. It was fun to watch the chefs at work. It appears to have been recently remodeled as all the furnishings seemed new. I had Gaspacho soup and beef carpaccio. Both were delicious.... More

Our cruise ship anchored off St. Barts and this lovely place was just across from the launch landing. We stopped here mid-morning for a snack and to use the free Wi-Fi, which was easy and reliable. We had a yummy croissant, deliciously smooth guava juice, a bottle of Pelegrino, and a superb ice cream concoction of chocolate ice cream, espresso,... More

This is an ok restaurant. I wouldn't say 4-5 star but it was ok for a casual dinner. Thursday night is mussel special night. That's what we went for. Out of a bowl of 1 1/2 dozen I had 6 that weren't open my husband had 4 in his so we couldn't eat them. They come with fries which were... More

We tried the local cocktail called a white t-punch made with white rum and it was great and also a classic mojito. Whilst cocktails were priced between 7 and 12 Euros per drink, so not cheap, it wasn’t so bad for St Barts and prices were quite similar with prices elsewhere in Spain/UK and the USA. We didn’t try the... More
