Laid back atmosphere

This is not actually in Gustavia and is actuall by La Petit Columbe. I have been coming here for three years and have never had a bad meal whether for lunch or for dinner. While there are more upscale places to eat on the island, this has become old faithful! The staff is always friendly and if... read more

We had eaten lunch here on many occasions but never dinner. We are so happy we went for dinner. The food and service were wonderful and by St Barts standards was reasonable. My wife had duck breasts and I had sweet breads with morels. She had a glass of champagne and we split a bottle of wine. We also shared... More

An incredible menu which made it difficult to choose. We had the local fish special and petite lobsters. Delicious! The atmosphere is more laid back than some of other restuarants - casual and it seemed as though the local folks enjoyed this as well. One of my favorites.

Actually this restaurant is not in Gustavia but next to the La Petite Columbe bakery (previously reviewed and excellent) in Columbier. The food was a mix of local fish dishes, pizza, beef options and duck. I ordered the duck and was disappointed, my wife ordered the pizza and was also disappointed. Quite possibly we just ordered the wrong things and... More

We go to the bakery next door when we are in St. Barths. We never really noticed this restaurant but thought we would give it a try. It is much larger inside, than it appears outside and very nice. They do a big business in pizza and I can see why, the pizzas are large and look great. But, we... More

I'm a foodie but a snob for a view!! I was VERY pleased with both!! Thank you to my friends that live in this beautiful island. After exploring the beautiful beaches they asked us to meet them here for lunch. What a pleasant surprise it was. We had the daily lunch special which was pasta it was very tasty and... More

We discovered Les Bananiers restaurant thanks to our St Barth's friends who asked us to meet them there for lunch after we had explored the Flamands Beach nearby. It was a great choice, with delicious food and panoramic ocean views on the distance. I don't recall my friend's menu choices but I will never forget the pizza I had: the... More

Just next to the (by the way great) local 'boulanger', you can find this pizzeria. As opposed to many other resto's on the island, it lacks a good view and/or nice decor. More of a south-of-france-inland pizzeria decor, no offence there ;-). The pizza however is quite good, and the prices ar very mild, ranging from 10 to max 14€.... More

Wonderful bakery and restaurant with a view of the ocean from a high. It is casual and affordable with just good food. They have pizza, sandwiches, salads...all with interesting ingredients. You can not go wrong for lunch here and the wine list is very affordable...aka you can get a decent lunch wine for $30 - $40.

Been frequenting La Petite Columbe bakery next door for years but only discovered this fine place today. Wife had an "awesome" goat cheese salad and I an excellent pizza. Wine, espresso, rum & dessert followed. Wonderful selections available. Very good and friendly service.
