If you are looking for a change from all the great creole and French food on the island, this place is for you. It offers an interesting mix of Vietnamese, Thai and Chinese dishes. Vietnamese spring rolls (egg rolls on the menu) were tasty and so were the dumplings. Nice Peking duck dish too. Welcoming service.

I visited le Vietnam a couple months ago and boy was the host nice! They made wonderful conversation and talked to us about their experience in St. Barth. The food there tastes really good, kid-friendly, and gives you a different kind of food on a French island.

Although we were a bit disapointed with the news, the curry was excellent! Also, good price range...

Le Vietnam is a bargain on an island that's pretty short on them. So if you have a hankering for Asian food by all means eat here. While it is not the most inventive of kitchens, it more than makes up for that with hefty portions and a very gracious owner. But it's no Shun Lee Dynasty or Chinois on... More

What can I say? We had been to Vietnam Restaurant every visit to St Barth's but this time it was disappointing. Hospitality was good, but the food was not at all near what one would expect of Vietnamese food. The pho was watery, lacking in taste, all noodles and nothing much else. The Chicken curry a la Indien was meat... More

Looking for something different, Le Vietnam has an extensive menu, comfortable friendly atmosphere. The owners are present and doing the cooking! The egg rolls and the Peking Duck are excellent and all the dishes we have tried over the last few years have all been very good.

I didn't think you could cook Asian food so poorly. The pork dish and the six delicacies with noodles were completely tasteless. They actually had to go to some effort to make it so bad. I got a little worried when the deep fried shrimp appetizer was still frozen on the inside but it went down hill from there.

I have always liked the concept of having a restaurant like Le Vietnam on St Barths, giving the option for a break from the routine cuisine served on the island eg french/creole or burgers. That said, we had never actually got around to visiting Le Vietnam until now ! The inside is actually quite small, with the standard paraphernalia of... More
