Very good food, trendy place but service is bad. Even when there were very few people, we had to wait the longest of any restaurant we went to get our food and drinks. But nice atmosphere. owned by venezuelans. nice view as well, though very hard to find the place. on a steep hill, ladies watch your heels or make... More

We had read some mixed reviews but went there based on the recommendation of a local friend of ours. We had a fantastic meal. Amusee was excellent. The summer fixed menu was great. Tuna carpaccio, mahi with salsa cruda, and chocolate dessert all first rate. Definitely will be back. View of the harbor is spectacular as well.

We had a great experience at Bonito -- the views and ambience were amazing and what we expected to see more of while in St. Barth. The food was delicious and inventive as well. Like everything on the island, the food is pricey, but it was one of the few places that we felt was worth it. We would definitely... More

This restaurant was suggested by our concierge he even made the reservation for us because otherwise we would not have gotten one. When we walk in there is a great band playing with an amazing sultry lead singer. The restaurant is pretty, open air but tight. We get seated and the wait begins. It takes quite sometime to get our... More

The cocktails and view from the balcony tables alone make it worthwhile to visit the restaurant. Service was good and food good but felt it wasn't good enough give 5 stars.

Bonito is a very up market and yet relaxed restaurant. The interior is very stylish with a white and blue interior and the restaurant is open to the outside which allows you to look out onto Gustavia, which is very pretty. We always like an excuse to dress up and Bonito certainly allows you to do this. My daughter is... More

So valet parking, check, lovely welcome and cocktail - check... And that's it unfortunately. After ordering I asked for a bread roll however entree was served within 7 minutes of sitting down, I asked for oil or butter to accompany bread roll, which arrived. The entree plates needed to be cleared because less than 5 minutes later our main was... More

I loved this place last year when we went . This year I was sad that my fav restaurant wasn't my fav anymore. I'm not very picky at all ! It takes a lot to make me frown about service but it was pretty bad here. They were very polite but good came at different times , salty , forgot... More

This is our second visit to Bonito and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time. It is located on a hill as others have pointed out so you have a wonderful view of the harbor. We made reservations so had no trouble being seated. Tip: it is the only restaurant on the island on OpenTable. Our food... More

Trendy looking modern space with a nice view of Gustavia. Food is well prepared, modern take. In the end this felt like a corporate restaurant to me that was filling in all the right dots to be successful but it lacked the kind of homey feel of other reataurants in st barths and the ones we favor everywhere. There is... More
