Best bar program in town

Bonito absolutely requires a reservation if you want a seat by the open windows and view. Of all of the places I have been in St Barts , this takes the cake for casual dining. Attentive staff. Excellent food., I have to say again excellent food. Great evening live music. This place never has you looking around trying to get attention for service. Bookings advised. I will return as often as I can

There are over 100 restaurants on this tiny island which is why it has one of the best reputations for food anywhere. Certainly it puts most of the Caribbean to shame. Even in this wildly competitive scene, Bonito takes the prize. It starts with its setting over Gustavia harbor, proceeds through the amazing hospitality of the the Maitre D, Nicolas... More

Bonito is definitely one of the best restaurants on the island. Not only the view is breathtaking, the food is just amazing. I had the Loup de mer and I can definitely say that it was the best dish I had on the island so far. I loved the lounge area with its big and cosy sofas as well. Highly... More

bonito has a beautiful setting, great bar, wonderful views of the harbor, terrific service, and outstanding food. The ceviche is fresh and very delicious, do the tasting of 4. Cocktails at the bar are interesting , try the Porn King if you like a spicy rum drink. All the fish and meats were excellent. Good wine list but somewhat expensive.... More

If I opened a restaurant I would like it to be like this...the decor is all white, with comfy break out areas, and brilliant bar...we only went in for a drink, and did plenty of that, and then ordered food at the bar...the staff were the best, so friendly, and the views of the main port from the bar were... Perched on the side of the hill overlooking the capital, Gustavia with a port full of Mega yachts, it does not get much better than this. Most tables for two are around the circular window though when looking at the great view you miss the great activity and atmosphere in the restaurant. This place really buzzes. The food is right... This is our 5th year to St. Bart's, but our first visit to Bonito. The service was a bit formal, but was prompt and excellent. We had fish (highly recommend to go with the fresh fish) entrees that were perfect. Drinks (although expensive, but hey it's St. Bart's you have to expect that) were exquisitely prepared and presented. Great atmosphere... More

The food, the staff and the atmosphere - made me forget of the trek up the hill to get there! We had the crispy tuna and the Bonito tacos - both were excellent. Next I had the tuna tataki which was very good and very different than what I was expecting but still good. My husband had the salmon -... More
