Having eaten many times at Kfe Massai, we were slightly apprehensive about trying its reincarnation as Table de Jules following some mediocre reviews. We had no need to worry: this was good wholehearted Paris bistro cuisine with strong flavours but few Caribbean influences. Fishsoup and a perfect fillet steak (cooked "a point") were excellent as was a tarte tatin. A... More

I had the set menu at euro 29. My wife went a la carte. I started with the tuna tartare. Another disappointment, very few places now seem to be able to season this dish properly it was billed as having ginger and soy and both were virtually non existent. My wife had the croque de Jules supposed to made with... More

Hoped for a better dining experience. Nothing special. Everything was perfectly fine--but had higher expectations. We have ben coming to SB for many years. Wall House and Pipiri Palace are the ones we keep going back to.

Longstanding Le Mesais has been updated and reopened by same owner. Pleasant spot under a roof for windy or wet eves. Menu is interesting and well prepared. The Daily Menu is one of the bets deals on St Bart's. For those of us who stay in St Jean do L'Orient this is a great local spot.

Very good food & excellent service. Authenic French cooking- some things right our of grandma's recipe box. The tuna tartre was delicious! We visited twice during our vacation. Finished the meal off with some complimentary vanilla rum.

After the closure of the Masaai, which we liked, as it was cool, nice food, nice service, simple nothing extraordinary, but so was the price, which is nice for a break, we were looking forward what would be in its place. As to understand that some great chefs and owners are involved, we went on a Friday evening, with high... More

This was one of our favorite places and we were worried it would no longer be. We were not disappointed and went back again. There used to be relatively inexpensive choices but no more. They are now competing price wise with the top restaurants on the island and have become a viable competitor. beware- spray with insect repellent as they... More

A fantastic evening. We had a memorable night, between the excellent and outstanding attention from all the staff, to the fabulous entreat and meals ordered. On par with le Gavroche in London, England. New chef has many talents in the menu and presentation of the food, not to mention taste. The wine selection fantastic also!

Now called "Le Massai" - we had a great meal and enjoyed our evening immensely. Many interesting creations on the menu. Our food was perfect. The only "complaint" is the mosquito bites. Not much they can do about that...just wear long pants or spritz a little bug spray.
