We stopped for a "cheeseburger in paradise " and that's what we got. The burger was ok. The fries were exceptional for the islands, crisp and tasty. Service was ok, but the old game of we have no change was played when trying to pay the bill, luckily some pocket searching saved leaving a 100% tip. Overall a decent lunch,... More

Jimmy Buffet knows his place! A visit to St Barths would not be complete without a burger, fries, and Red Stripe beer ---or two! After all the big dinners it is nice to go one night for a low key dinner and go to le crepiere for dessert!

Was on Island Windjammer's tall ship the Sagitta and we visited St Barths. Upon pulling up to the dock it was a quick trip down to the right to again enjoy a delicious cheeseburger in paradise like we did a couple years ago. It was as good as we remembered and the Jimmy Buffett connection made it special. It is... More

If you're planning a trip to St. Barths and don't want to break the bank for dinner and drinks this is a great little dive bar. Known for "cheeseburger in paradise" the burger is fast and delicious. Condiments are all in packets and you order ouside at the stand then find a table, drinks can be bought inside at bar.... More

This is a little dive bar and courtyard immediately adjacent to the marina in Gustavia. When we were here is was part tourists, a few locals, and a fair number of sailors and ship crew. It's major up side ... it's cheap in a place that's pretty expensive. It's also very laid back. Down side. Don't expect much on the... More

Funky and packed, right in the heart of Gustavia, this is a fun place to drop for a drink in downtown. Has both inside & outside seating & drinks were affordable.

Le Select has a split personality - touristy cheeseburger in paradise in the courtyard and a wonderful dive bar inside. We have done both. On this visit,we had already eaten when we stopped by, meaning we came for the drinking. We sat inside at the bar (my rear barely fit in the narrow chair) and ordered Amstels. The bar had... More

Le Select is actually a bit of a dump, but is an OK place for a drink and to watch the world go by. The inside is a bit dark and dingy but with plenty of photos and stuff on the walls, whilst the outside furniture is pretty basic. However, there is plenty shade so it is usually quite cool.... Went in the place and automatically you should know what you are walking into. Liked the local/laid back/marina ambiance. Beer was cold and the bartender was efficient yet on the food side the lady had lots of attitude. Seems she didn't want to take food orders as she was sitting by our side as we waited for her to stand... More
