John and his restaurant continue to be the place to get Goat Water on Fridays and Saturdays. The view from the deck is exceptional.

My cousin who lives on the island took us to this bar. We enjoyed meeting up with local people. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. They do food here but you would need to order beforehand.

A great place to stop and get one of the coldest beers on the island, Johns frosty beers are pretty well known by the people who go there. So on a hot day, (of which there are many) if you have to drive anywhere, stop in and grab a frosty one! Plus if your driving, John makes amazing ginger beer,... More

Great food. Great company. You will make a friend here as well as sampling some hearty local food. You may well be the only guests, but private dining is all the rage, right? Paul and Louise

Highlight of our visit to have met owner John and drank rum and beers overlooking the looping road below. We waved at the locals as they passed by and spent too long talking about a love for this island. The food was homemade and wonderful, particularly the Goats Water. Everybody turned up for soup and takeaway food. Excellent time.

My husband and I arrived on Montserrat yesterday, and the people we are staying with suggested dinner from this place our first night because our flight came in later. John immediately greeted us with a big smile and a enthusiastic welcome. We got one chicken entrée and one fish entrée. Both came with a side of rice, potato salad, and... More

First the food is amazing! I always go there when I am in Montserrat. John is great!, friendly, amazing customer service. He makes you feel so at home like you are visiting a relative for dinner. Roti amazing, Coconut cake and tart yummy! I place my orders early. The views and breezes coming from on top the hills so sweet!.... More
