I was not planning to eat but after our diving, everyone from the dive boat went in for lunch so I decided to join them. This is a big, casual restaurant/bar facing all the boats in the marina. I ordered chicken (cooked in a curry-like stew) werved with veggies & rice as they said this is a Martinique dish before... More

I was looking for some nice local food, this is definitely not the place to come. Lobster was too cooked, ti punch was just impossible to drink as the rum was too strong and bad. The red wine was desapointing.

The setting by the side of the marina is very nice and its a big place so no problem getting a table. The meal for all three of us was average therefore we felt it was a little over-priced for the quality of the meal.

It is in front of the marine and it was the first place we found to have lunch near the hotel. You can walk around to see shops and appreciate the boats

It is a great place to have a drink on the terrace after the beach. Nice place to watch people. As to the dinner, it was not bad, but if we never ate there would not regret it either.

We were flying from Martinique to St Lucia and so we didn't have long to have a meal. We explained this to the staff who were very quick to take our order. We didn't have to wait long for the pizza to came. Also they had halved the pizza for us and bought them out on one plate each. as... More

Ate their twice, service and food was good both times, nothing spectacular stands out, my son like the pizza. Cost was reasonable.

The food is good (from pizzas to very local fresh Creole food). The price is correct, the service friendly. The restaurant is an open space a few feet away from the first row of boats of the Marina. It has been in operation for decades. You know exactly what to expect and you are never disappointed. Pizza take-away possible.

La Marine is a very friendly and reasonably priced restaurant. The house wine by the carafe is a particular bargain. A broad menu with French and Italian specialities. Considerably less expensive than the nearby tourist hotel restaurants. More interesting because there's a substantial local clientele.
