There is a snob appel for appearing at El Quenepo that has me questioning what is its appeal. Food is overly done up to look like a hat for a run in Hello Dolly and has a price tag that would support a run off Broadway. And don't ask about the cost of alcohol. You can do much better elsewhere... More

It's been over a year since I've been to El Quenepo and they have still maintained their reputation as one of the best restaurants on the Island of Vieques. Prices are not on the cheap side but well worth spending some hard earned cash for a lively meal. Vieques boasts some of the best meals I've had on a single... More

Very classy atmosphere and interesting menu. Unfortunately, the first time we were there, they ran out of cooking gas before we could order! They did set us up down the street and paid for our dessert! So, of course, we went back and had an excellent meal.

Our family dinner was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their food and service was very attentive. We felt very welcome. Would recommend it to anyone wanting a nice dinner in Vieques.

To our great surprise, we found this fabulous restaurant in Esperanza! There were so many tempting possibilities on the menu, that my family and I had a devilish time deciding. We decided upon the ceviche and poke for appetizers. They were terrific! For dinner, we had the lobster, short rib special, and the tuna. All were flavorful. The cocktails were... More

My boyfriend brought me here for my birthday dinner and our first dinner on the island and it was perfect! We had a table by the window and our server was very good (he also showed us on the map where to go on the island). We had a few apps but I forget what they were but I remember... More

We were referred here by our driver and it did not disappoint! Probably the best food on the island. We've been to Vieques twice and was stunned we didn't stop here the first time. Every dish was cooked to perfection, the dining room was clean and the service was wonderfully paced. The meals are pricey but definitely not as much... More

The atmosphere is upscale. The food is very creative. It's pricey but IMO I think it's worth it. We found the service to be excellent. This is the place you prefer gourmet over everything else or you want to treat yourself.

Great place. We did not have reservations, and the host was very accommodating. We were able to order off menu for our son who does not like sauces or much spice on his food. Our meals were excellent and the service was great. Go.
