This was a wonderful dining experience. Everything was great- the food, the service, the wine selection. We thoroughly enjoyed this meal and would go back again. Even our little guy liked it.

Had dinner for two on a weeknight during low season. Made reservations and sat at the best table in the house under the quenepa tree! Fanciest meal I had during my visit. Ordered the mofongo and I am so glad I did, delicious! Really friendly and professional service. The owner even visited the table to make sure we enjoyed everything.

Two of us went here on a Saturday night, without a reservation. Since it was the "Patronales" in Isabella II, our dinner plans had fallen through. We came here on a whim, and were so glad we did. They had a table for us (which probably would not have happened on a Saturday night during the high season). We were... More

Nice atmosphere, of course, but service was unbelievably slow, some of the food was great, some not so much. slow slow slow. And I'm usually pretty patient, certainly on vacation. The date on my review is inaccurate. We were there in September 2013, at the very end of the season. FYI the whole island shuts down about the first week... More

I wish we had come here on our first night, because I would probably have enjoyed it more. My husband and I were in Vieques for our anniversary, and we went to Bili the first night, so everything after that was just being compared to that experience. El Quenepo is fine. The staff seemed a bit lack luster (we were... More

We wanted to go to El Quenepo our first night on Vieques based on the reviews, but it was closed. Disappointed we went somewhere else. The next night we tried again and were pleased to find it open. The server seated us and explained the specials. Bread with a homemade oil and basil dipping sauce was brought promptly. We ordered the... More

I'm a executive chef and I can say the food is ok. It's a small Island and the food is different than in the state. I really do not understand if you are a "good restaurant " why force a 18% tip on people. I really do know what people really see in this place.

One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. Don't miss coming here while in Vieques. Incomparable. Presentation was as exquisite and the taste of the food.
