It's expensive, and yet we felt we got at least our money's worth, and maybe more. All of the food was excellent, and the service was great, too. It seems they tend to every detail and pick - & train - their wait staff carefully. If I had infinite time & money I'd like to try everything on the menu.

Our group of eight eat here and I did not hear a negative word or see a plate that wasn't finished. The service was outstanding. It was hard to pick a dish as everything looked so good. Save room for desserts. Pricy but well worth the cost and experience. If you have only one night out for dinner please go.

Let me start by saying, there were many amazing experiences during our trip to Puerto Rico / Vieques - our rental house, the weather, the beaches, the views. But our dining experiences were lacking in both service and cuisine. However, El Quenepo was the exception - service spot on (as much as an island meal can be!) and menu had... More

Have been to el quenepo several times, and it has always been a pleasurable experience. But last night rocked my world, I would have to say one of thee best meals I have EVER had, topped with excellent drinks and service. I had the fillet cooked medium, I think it had some sort of coffee rub. It was poached on... More

Excellent food, relaxed atmosphere, but allot several hours to a delicious dinner. The local catch of the day is usually very good.

We had a really nice dinner at El Quenepo. Their dishes may be a bit overdone in some cases, but all in all an excellent meal with friendly and relaxed service. They had excellent coquito (think of it as eggnog, but only much, much better) for the holidays!

Got the sea scallops and the mofongo. Both were delicious. Great service and a fun vibe. Located in Esperanza along with many other restaurants but this was at the top. Will definitely come back here if I'm on the island again.

My wife and I are vegetarians and did not find a ton of vegetarian options on the island. When we asked to see a menu at El Quenepo they told us that certain items could be prepared vegetarian style. I had a vegetarian version of the Goat Massala (I think) and my wife had the vegetarian version of the Pork... More

Excellently prepared meal. The best fine dining in the area (I am a restauranteur). Upscale and relaxed with well trained staff. Very well prepared, presented and delicious food.
