We came to Roy's because we were looking for a place to have breakfast. We did not make it in time, so we opted to have lunch. When we walked in, we were not greeted by anyone. The bartender was busy behind the bar working and talking to patrons sitting at the bar. We sat ourselves out back and waited... More

The Cubano sandwich was amazing, waffles are good and coffee was good as well. What sat this restaurant apart from the rest was the service. The bartender was super friendly and fun, the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. Oh, the coffee cake was the best I've ever had.

Walking in, there's a pretty neat chalk wall to your left. People are encouraged to write anywhere they want to on it, and it covers a good chunk of the wall. You order at the bar, but that's nothing new. The menu is small and mostly sandwiches. The drinks look tasty, but I can't attest to them actually being so,... More

After reading favorable reviews, we decided to try Roy's in Isabel for breakfast. Outside area look nice. BIG mistake! The egg omelet was the worse we ever have been served - tasteless & flat - ( not "puffy" ) with little cheese or meat. Jars of old jam were on an inside counter making you wonder how many clean? knives... More

Beware of Roy's bad service, you come in & have to give your order to the person behind the bar. We came in & waited for the woman behind the bar to recognize we were waiting to order while she finished making coffee and then she proceeded to do dishes. After that a large group came in and stood next... More

The food was good and quite fast. I highly recommend eating outside in the lovely courtyard. The smoothies were OK, but not great. I could have done without the chunks of smoothie in my water. The breakfast burrito is tasty. I had bacon and my someone else had sausage. I think the sausage was better. The loaded waffle was a... More

We were very disappointed with Roys. The food was nothing special and the service was unpleasant. Better to just eat breakfast at home.

We ended up eating here twice - once for breakfast and once for lunch. We had to go back b/c it was so nice out back - extremely peaceful, friendly staff, and a great cubano sandwich!

We stopped in twice during our time in Vieques for a quick breakfast and coffee! I very much enjoyed the breakfast burrito and the iced latte - got the day off to a great start before heading to the beach. To the young lady behind the bar - thanks for the wonderful service and conversation! I look forward to my... More

Stopped in as it is well recommended... the place seems friendly, and nice places to sit (inside and out) but was underwhelmed by the coffee. Maybe should have tried more food, but wanted to spend time walking around town, which is very nice and interesting.
