Casa Cascadas lies atop the ridge of hills that runs along the center of Vieques from East to West and the views are breathtaking. Upon entering we were greeted by the owners of the house, Peter ( a writer) and Joanne (a former dancer and global event planner) and servers with trays of hors de oeuvres-I recall with relish shrimp... My husband and I were very excited to book reservations for Casa Cascadas. We have been coming to Vieques for 4 years and have dined all over the world – from food trucks to 4 star restaurants. Vieques could use a great foodie experience but, sadly, Casa Cascadas was not only disappointing, it was one of the worst meals we’ve... More

This review is such a vindictive hatchet job that I find it difficult to take seriously, especially in light of every other review! Furthermore, this self proclaimed global food expert is unable to name a single specific dish -she just hated everything including the atmosphere and the service. More

Tough to find this place but a great dinner w great people and food. The martinis are crazy strong, unless you really like vodka just order wine. Many of us didn't drink the whole thing and eventually just went to wine.

We had a beautiful dinner under the stars. The food was excellent , great lemongrass martini, welcoming and charming owners. Could have had more wines available, but other than that terrific. Intimate dinner for 24, nice way to talk with fellow travellers. Be sure to pay close attention to the directions too.

We thank this guest for an overwhelmingly positive comment about our mission to offer an exceptional dining experience that is unique to Vieques. In addition to the signature Lemon Grass Martini that we make with freshly picked lemon grass from our orchard, our wine list changes weekly. We typically offer several selections of sparkling wines – one always a Taittinger... More

Relaxed, good conversation, friendly people, great food. You can't go wrong - this is a great evening. We did not know anyone and would not usually go to this type of event but we had a great time and will not miss it when we return to Vieques!

If you can make one of the Thursday dinners you really must go - it was a beautiful setting - the architecture alone makes it worth the visit. That being said, the food was excellent plus we were very luck to meet several local people - including John Hix himself and his lovely wife. I'm so pleased I was able... More

My boyfriend and I visited Vieques and heard of Casa Cascadas because they were hosting a "Feast of Seven Fishes" dinner the night after we arrived. Since neither of us had been this traditional Italian dinner, we thought it would be a fun experience. When we asked our hotel to call a cab to take us to Casa Cascadas, they... More
