Very good

We had the pork carnitas and the were very very good. We also had the funky chicken which was also good. The serving sizes are big and prices decent.

This food was fantastic! Big portions at a fair price! And the owner is a good person! She helped us with a flat tire!

They run out of food later in the day, so you got to get there early if you want some, and according to me, this is not to be missed. We ate the empanadas, jerk chicken sandwich and pulled port- all of which were amazing, but especially the empanadas. absolutely mouth-watering. The food takes a while, depending on the crowd,... We drove past Sol Food every day waiting to see when it would open! Lucky for us, on a Saturday afternoon we were some of the first in line! My husband had the Jerk Chicken sandwich with pineapple slaw that was DELICIOUS! I had the carnitas with chicken and a side of the three bean/heart of palm salad. I could... More

This is a food truck half way up/down 997 on Vieques. Good vegetarian options & portions. They run out of items late in the day. Seating is limited. Reasonable price. Not open most of the day.

Welcome to Vieques where the daily ritual is breakfast, beach, nap, bool or beach and a nice dinner. You have to eat lunch with a busy schedule like that. This place is amazing food out of a truck that has not moved since 1999. They are from New York, but left the N Y attitude behind. Grab some great food... More

Don't let the condition of this food truck (think Dresden 1944) put you off. The food is fresh, servings are plentiful and the prices are decent. We ordered the jerk chicken, pulled pork and the empanadas. Everything was very good but the empanadas were a real high point. If you're driving by and they're open it's worth a stop. Service... With hearing many raving reviews of this place, we thought we ought to give it a try. Looked at the menu beforehand to send a few people to bring our food back to the beach, but found out that their menu is on a day-to-day basis. Also, one of the cooks was not the friendliest and didn't want to seem... More

This food truck looks like a wreck, and it is immobile, but it serves up some of the freshest and tastiest food you'll ever get on a hot beach day. We had juicy pork sandwiches (fell apart and was as soft as chicken) and Bob Marley Jerk Chicken along with several different salad sides. All delicious!
