A Nice Surprise

We ate here on a local recommendation and were very pleased. Vieques has no shortage of funky little places and a simple, elegant spot was a nice change of pace. The service was prompt and the food delicious, particularly the mango cheesecake. Definitely try the seafood. We walked in and got a... read more

Had a great dinner here with my husband. I had the mahi mahi. Delicious! So flavorful, and a great piece of fish. Service was pleasant. The atmosphere here is really lovely. Would definitely eat here again.

We have been wanting to eat here for months now. We took a chance and just stopped by without a reservation and was able to get a table. The service was a little slow but that was okay. The food was amazing and well made. The fish I had was some of the best I have had. The price was... More

Our first night on the island we wanted something a bit fancy so we headed to the newer joint of Conuco. It was an easy walk from our hotel (Casa de Amstad) and most of the other guests at our place also dined here for dinner. We had the whole fish, the shrimp mofongo, a green salad, and a bottle... We were excited to eat here, as friends had done so many times to rave reviews. We were a group of six. Perhaps it was an off night; our server seemed unsure and ultimately came to our table to apologize for the uneven night. Our wine and appetizers came reasonably soon enough, but after that....crickets. We waited nearly an hour... More

We were there for Christmas dinner with another couple who were staying at he same place as us. I don't think that I could have picked a worse restaurant for that night. We were seated inside (all other inside tables were empty) when there were plenty of table outside on the patio. We asked to be moved and they gladly... More

We're sorry to hear about your bad experience at our restaurant Been one of the busiest night of the year sometimes things doesn't run as we wish and we are sorry for that. Being vegetarian it was difficult to find good food on the island (unless all you want to eat is salads). Conuco had a whole vegetarian menu and allowed me to try traditional Puerto Rican food! I had vegetarian mofongo with both plantains and yucca. Both were delicious.

Lovely atmosphere and terrific menu. Great cocktails and delicious food. Very friendly staff. You will need reservations. You should walk to this one if possible, parking can be tough. The outdoor area seems like a fun lounge like place to hang but we were indoors, it was still very nice.

We went on the early side for dinner - around 6pm. Our food was very tasty! There were lots of Puerto Rican dishes to choose from - love their rice and beans! This place is located in the heart of Isabel Segunda. Will definitely return!

from hearing how good this place is for so long from others, I tried it. NO BUENO. I sat in a seat where there was constant traffic walking behind me which was very annoying. Our drinks took a long time to come. My dinner companion got the wrong wine then they tried to make it up by bringing an old... More
