Great Food! But expensive!

Visited the restaurant while staying at the Hix in Vieques. I wanted to try this restaurant out since it has great reviews. I have to say that it did not disappoint at all! Service was okay, not bad but not phenomenal. Food was fine dining caliber! I ordered the lobster with risotto and it was the... read more

Hostess Katie was very personable and welcoming and David, our server, was vibrant and attentive to our party of five, there for dinner. We were enchanted by the setting and all the starfruit, mango and avocado trees. Our server was so nice to let us pick some of the starfruit, which he washed, sliced and served us! Finally, the food... More

We had an amazing dinner and loved the new menu choices. Each entry was unique and artfully presented. Since we were there with a three year old we appreciated the waiter saying they could make any kind of " kid" food imaginable and that her food came out promptly and was just as delicious as our entries.

A cool breeze greets you at the restaurant terrace and small lights in the trees recreate a magical atmosphere . The waitresses are friendly and elegant in their treatment. The menu is interesting and aims to be different , but is it really ? I ordered a pasta with sun dried tomatoes and it was not exceptional. Pizza with chicken... More

My husband and I ate here our first night on the island, and it was a quick taxi from the W hotel. I loved the atmosphere of this restaurant; the balcony/terrace/patio area was very nice, as was the interior. I am glad we went here as it was an easy place for the first night, but I would not go... Fit for foodies restaurant. Beautiful plating, interesting entrees, delicious drinks. I loved everything we had at Next Course. It is a little out of the way, but I'm so glad we tried it. Fairly expensive, but delicious.

While we did enjoy our visit, but it didn't meet up to the hype. The lobster was good, I see why it is such a popular dish. One of our parties had the pasta and it was not good. I had the potato soup (very very good!) and the scallops. Again, it was ok but it was just ok!! The... More

This place is great. The food was as good as anything on the island!! The pork chop was absolutely delicious. It had to be 1.5" thick with an amazing glaze that melted in your mouth. The wine list was adequate, especially for a small caribbean island. The one drawback was the person running the restaurant...if she is the owner, she... More
