The Next Course gave perfect service, an incredible meal, and a relaxed, comfortable scene at a fair price.

Food was very, very good. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was both desserts we got were a bit heavy handed. By that I mean the pie was mostly crust as well as the tart

On an island of 9000 formerly the target of Navy bombs, we did not expect to have as good a meal as we have ever had in a delightful setting. The preperation and presentation were outstanding. And there are several other fine restaurants on the island plus at least one excellent one featuring local food.

Dining at Next Course was a pleasant surprise on the small island of Vieques. I thought the food was comparable to the good neighborhood restaurants we frequent in San Francisco. Some menu items were uniques such as locally sourced and aged meats.

Had such a wonderful experience at Next Course! We sat outside on the deck and had a view of the stars all night. Delicious Martinis, loved the ginger peach!! I had the Caribbean lobster & my husband had the aged beef...so incredible, possibly one of the best meals we have ever had!! Prices are high, but totally worth it! Our... More

Stayed on Vieques over new years for a 10 day visit. Our hotel was the W, which was slightly above average re: food. Next Course was extremely flavorful. We ordered both surf and turf. Each meal was savory, fresh, delicious. The drinks, particularly the pina colada l type drink was better and more flavorful than any we'd ordered on the... More

The food at Next Course was just simply good, not great. I liked the eclectic menu, and the fact that it had a pan-world feel. The staff was fantastic and very friendly as well. I thought the “waffle dessert” was overrated but everything else I had on the menu (pork chops, scallops, signature cocktails, salad) was all on par. I... More

On a recent trpi to Vieques, we ate dinner at Next Course. It was easy to find and offered parking. The service was awesome - excellent from the moment we stepped into the door. They accommodated my allergies and made helpful suggestions. The desserts were perfect. Not cheap - though no restaurants on any island are - worth a stop!

The atmosphere is very Romantic and even though I went by myself, the bartender was very helpful, nice and kind. I tried my First martini and enjoyed it. The vegetarian options are few but very good and the dessert was Amazingly wonderful!!! Thank you guys! I just wish more people could speak Spanish in the restaurants in Vieques :)
