Expected a lot from this place after having read so many great reviews but it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. My boyfriend and I ordered two drinks that weren't very good (one with mint and one that was coconut lime). We ordered the scallops as an appetizer which were really soft an tasty. I had the salmon stuffed with... More

I had a scallop that was so good. It hugged my tongue and whispered I love you. Everything here was super tasty.

We had some of the best food on the island here! While the service wasn't anything to write home about, the food was well worth the mediocre service.

Took the whole family here and all the kids from age 5 to age 13 enjoyed the creatively prepared food with fresh ingredients. Interesting drink menu as well. Prices are a bit high, but fair considering the quality of the food.

Next Course is absolutely adorable! We had a great little table outside next to a lit up tree and it was perfection. They had a grapefruit martini special and it was good but very strong, I have had better. The waitress took our appetizer orders and when we told her we wanted to wait to put in our dinner order... We have been to vieques many times and next course is always our favorite. This vacation we went twice! Both dinners were excellent, definitely recommend the cheese plate!

We were very pleased with the food, and especially the presentation. It is not cheap, but you get what you pay for. We had soft drinks, appetizers, main course, and deserts for four for under $200. The portions were adequate, and everything was delicious. You could just tell the chef cared about every aspect of the food. I'm no food... More

Be forewarned that this is an expensive dining option. The lobster is "Market Price" and be sure to ask. When we dined, it was $5.00 per ounce. One of our dining companions made this selection and paid $60 for a less than superb dinner. We should have known from the beginning that this restaurant does things it's own way. No... More

On our first trip to Vieques we loved this restaurant and were really excited to eat at Next Course again. However, we were very disappointed with the service. The food was good (not great, like our first experience) but our waitress ruined the evening. To the point that we considered getting dinner there the next night and went to El... More
