It started to rain when we were on the Island so we went over to lazy Jacks to have a drink. Great bartender. We had fun talking to others that were staying on the island. After the rain stopped we enjoyed all the shops around Esperanza.

We had dinner here one night and the food was average. Nothing fancy but we weren't looking for fancy. Just a simple meal and they totally delivered! The drinks were great too and the music is excellent. We came back another night just for drinks and to hang out. The bartender was awesome! A very silly and laid back man.... More

Lots of people from the hostel milling about- but not too crazy. The pizza was really good- thin crust lots of choices of toppings. Our waitress was really good. We almost didn't stop here because it looks a tiny bit sketchy- but so glad we did!

My review is based mainly on our dinner at Lazy Jack's. As a watering whole, the place is OK, there are nice people about and the bar tenders are nice and fun..and the drinks are good and well priced. Dinner was a different story. The waitress who served us really didn't seem interested. She took a long time to take... More

Very casual. Great during day for families. Good pizza. Thin crust. Great at night for partying! VERY CASUAL! Really enjoyed it, but got bit like crazy by sand fleas or noseeums. Not sure. Just bring bug spray!

Dog friendly (places for their leashes at the bar) laid back (hey it is Vieques) and good food at reasonable prices. What is not to like?

The food was average but the service was very, very slow. I guess lazy is in the name but seriously. I get island time and relaxing and not really stressing out but 20 minutes just to get a drink after sitting down is beyond slow.

We stopped in for a drink while on our way around the island. The bartender was very nice, made an excellent Lime Killer and the pizza looked awesome! Beautiful view. Would definitely go back and try the pizza.

I spent three nights with a friend in the attached hostel and we started and ended most of our nights on El Malecon at Lazy Jack's. Most of the kitchens are closed by 10, but not Lazy Jack's, so that's good. The pork tacos are awesome. The pizza was pretty good. The bartenders, including the much mentioned Mike, Noel, and...
