Super late lunch, enjoyed the pizza and loved the tacos. Very friendly bartender, and fab location. Have the painkillers! My friend had a mango concoction made with fresh mangoes from the tree next door.. We will be back.

We had arrived in VQS just a few hours earlier when we walked the malecon and found lazy jacks. We had a few drinks and a small pizza. The atmosphere was fun and after we walked around some more stopping for a beer at each place, we ended our night here. Great staff.
...or your time! We were virtually ignored for 15 minutes, then had to wait forever for our food (the place wasn't busy; it was 9pm). We asked for water and got 1 small cup. Asked for more, and it was refilled - but no second cup. The food was so bad that the scroungy dog begging at my feet turned...

Very relaxed place with a slow pace. Not the fanciest place in Esperanza but it offers really tasty and affordable food. Loved the fish and chips, fish tacos, and pulled pork tacos - excellent!
Stopped at Lazy Jack's for a quick pizza before the bio bay tour. Although the place was almost empty, it took 45 minutes for our pizza to be served. The waitress wasn't at all concerned. Ended up getting it to go and reheating it later. Pizza was ok but nothing special. Don't come here for good service or quality food...

John the manager went above and beyond to reserve an entire area for my wedding party. Any mishaps were handled without having to worry and the food was great! The servers were very friendly and quick and took care of everyone all night. My wedding party loved it so much that they went the night after the wedding to get...

Oh this was one of the worst things we ate on the trip, but maybe it is more about the drinks. I also read the pizza is good which we did not try. Our server was very sweet and the drinks are just fine, but those nachos were nasty nasty.
This is a great place if you are in the mood for pizza...they make a good 'za! The service is good, but there seems to be more "riff-raff" around here than any other place along the Malecon...not sure why.
I've reviewed this place before - greatly displeased with it's lack of anything Puerto Rican (isn't that why we go to Puerto Rico?) and in particular, lack of anything remotely Vieques - ish. It could be a bar at any any beach on any island or even Florida for that matter. Even the music is norteamericano. That said, I must...

Just the sort of little place you'd expect on a quaint, Caribbean island. Laid back bartenders, great burgers and pizza, cold drinks, and right on the malecon. Spent many hours here drinking and getting to know folks.
