Wanted to check out this place, it was near where we were staying. Got doughnuts for the family and they were good. Really local place, loved it.

Like most reviewers this place is not exactly well publicized, easily missed and could easily be mistaken for a dump. But don't be fooled, they serve some deliciously cheap sandwiches. We ordered 2 Cubano to go along with their homemade bread pudding and cheesecake for dessert. Got it to go for the beach. Portions are on the larger side depending... More

We had a hard time finding this little place. It says Bakery outside and looks a little sketch but the sandwiches were AMAZING! We stopped here before the beach and packed them for lunch and boy were we happy. I had the Italiano and I highly recommend. I had a donut while I waited which was also awesome! The sandwiches... We stopped here daily during our stay in Vieques for our morning coffee (cafe con leche) ritual and cuban sandwiches to go for our all day beach run. It's really convenient since there are no food establishments on the beaches.

Don't expect great ambiance here- it's a cafeteria setting. However, do expect delicious coffee and food! The pastries are wonderful (go early for best selection) and a cup of coffee will run you a little over $1. Perfect place to grab some sandwiches before heading to the beach or a quick breakfast. Tons of different pastries/cookies that you can grab... More

It was about 1:30pm and we wanted an expresso and a pastry. First, service was very unfriendly, the pastry display was completely empty except a few corn moffins, there was no running water and we couldn't get our coffee. This is the main bakery and deli on the island, a three story building....so why don't they have a cistern system....and... More

We ordered 4 six inch sandwiches loaded with delicious meats, cheeses and vegetables on Sabao bread. Not gourmet but not supposed to be. These sandwiches are heavenly! Order them to go and bring them to the beach - they'll still be hot and gooey when you take your first bites! We ordered two cubanos, one egg, and mine was the... More

This is a wonderful bakery when Viequenses and Tourists all go. Coffee delicious, hot sandwiches a special treat and Pan de Agua bread a favorite of my kids. The pastry is home made and very special. The bread pudding when it is available is the best ever. I like the people, the staff, the place. They are always kind.
