Good food on a budget

Open air seating always gave me an appetite. Ate breakfast there almost every day of my 10 day stay and with one exception (steak tough on steak n eggs menu) the food was good to great. Good and genuinely friendly service. It was a great people watching place. You may find the tables seemed to be... read more

I ate breakfast here a couple times since our dive trips left from this area. The food was good and the prices were very reasonable. Very sweet doggies hang out here and I enjoyed giving them a bite to eat. Only negative thing is that every time I was there the tables and chairs were sticky. Ewww!

The BBQ ribs with pork and beans and potato salad are the best. The ribs are so good they fall right off the bone. The seasoning on the ribs is finger licking good. You have to try it.

On the malecon in Esperanza, we shared a breakast entree 2 mornings and both had more than enough to eat. One morning was ham and eggs with hash browns and toast, the next a delicous vegitable fritatta.

Enjoyed their breakfast menu two times during our wonderful stay at Isla Vieques. Our server, whose name escaped me right now, was really delightful and full of funny things to say. The food was really good, especially a crazy night or an early morning jog. The place has a very welcomy feel to it. Coffee is bottomless and food portions... More

Went twice for breakfast and once for dinner for the rib special. Delicious food at each of the three meals!

Delightful staff. Homemade food and thick local bread for toast with lots of melted butter. Specials every morning. Self serve all you can drink coffee. Free WiFi. Watch dogs and horses parade on the Malecon.

We heard about this place but decided not to go at first only because we wanted to experience Puerto Rican food. On our last day, we decided to go. All I can say is that I wish we went sooner! This place was delicious. The Chicken Sandwich was amazing and so were the Jalepeno Poppers. This is a great lunch... More

Their daily specials are truly "daily." Had a nice black bean omelet one day, and others in my group had spinach enchilada. Next day, the specials were different. French toast (and regular toast) is made with big slices or rather chunks of local white bread. Good size portions. $7 for 2 eggs, toast, breakfast potatoes and choice of meat. Staff... More
