The food was fresh! that means alot to all of us! Great place for Breakfast! the omelettes where good. Right Off the Malceon in Esperanza!
My husband and I rented a house just a 10 minute walk from Belly Button's. We frequented this spot both for breakfast and late night drinks. The food is fresh, the coffee strong, and the drinks served with a smile. Our one regret is that we never had a chance to try the barbecue, but we heard amazing things! This... More
We stayed at Malecon House and sampled the variety of restaurants in Esperanza. (Some restaurants were closed during the low season when we visited). We consistently returned to Belly Buttons for the food, drink and friendly staff and ownership. Belly Buttons made the best painkiller on the island. On Sunday night we had barbeque. It was delicious and a nice... More
redefines the meaning of al fresco. get your omelette on while overlooking the Caribbean. the coffee is fresh, hot, and, while not coming out of a French press, tastes so good (as in, black, straight-up). name your juice, they've got some exotics. If you wanna get out of your resort (I still love the Dubwa), have a fantastic breakfast without... More
BBQ is awesome. Best BBQ anywhere on the island. Best BBQ I've had in years. Breakfast is good too. Everything is priced very fairly. The service was wonderful.
We had lunch here and we had fish and chips. Food was hot and fish was so tasty. And I have to mention, that they had the best French fries on this island. Very happy with a meal and drinks as well.
OK, I'm on an island (Vieques) off an Island (Puerto Rico) in the Caribbean and I stumbled upon great barbeque - who would have thought. My daughter, her friend and I were looking for a good dinner on a Saturday night and someone mentioned Belly Button's so we decided to try it. I had the pulled pork sandwich with baked... More
We smelled the coffee as we were trying to find a place to eat during the week. We hadn't heard of them before making our stop. Amazing french toast made with fresh local bread. Great atmosphere and very helpful staff / owners. Beautiful view of the ocean. Would definitely go again!
Maybe I was starving from traveling from OSJ via Vieques Air link and two diverted flights at 0630, along with a very scary driving tour of the island BUT when we arrived at 1030 for breakfast I was relieved to find they were open. The breakfast was yummy and came out quickly. The server gave us tips and tricks of... More
