Belly Buttons is a great place to lounge in the morning. If you are looking for good pan de agua this is your place. Good prices for Esperanza and a great way to start your morning. I ate there 3 mornings in a row and found the food tasty and filling. I had the 2 eggs, ham, country potatoes and toast for $6.50. Wonderful breakfast that really filled me for the day. French toasts was tasty too. Can't beat the beach side atmosphere!! I have no complaints. more

Maybe I was just excited to see something resembling my normal brunch menu. I found Puerto Rican cuisine somewhat lacking. I don't eat meat and I like to take my meals late. We ate at Belly Buttons 3 times in our weeklong trip in May. My wife tried whatever special they had and loved the french toast with whatever fruit they had that day. I had omelettes and Bloody Marys (very nice concoctions here) Great atmosphere, friendly staff and a view that can't be beat. GO HERE!! more

My favorite breakfast for the whole trip was banana bread French toast! Absolutely delicious! My husband had a traditional American breakfast with sausage and eggs. Very high quality breakfast meats. We ate lunch here. They do close around 2 pm, so we had to return another day after spending too much time at the beach. The owner and his wife are very friendly. We had the sandwiches, crab cake, and burger (which looked awesome). Food was very good - we would definitely go back. more
