A nice good bye to a lovely island.

We had some time to kill between check out and our flight so we decided to spend it here at the Isla Nena Café. The owner was a really nice guy and his wife is the chef. The food was good but a little pricey. On the other hand, if you look at it as airport food, it was way... read more

At this cafe, they usually have two options for breakfast: eggs+meat of choice+toast or an egg sandwich. Both times we got the egg+cheese+ham sandwich because they are delicious!!! Made on the fresh air-rise bread, they always hit the spot. Lunch looked really great too!

After staying a week at the W we had our final lunch on the island at this cafe. The food was so good and it was really refreshing not to pay the W's ridiculous prices for lunch. I only wish we had ventured over here sooner. If you're staying at the W, do yourself a favor and take the free... More

Stumbled on this by accident on during a rainy day. We didn't see it as we came in originally. Some of the best food, entertainment (by bartender Lyman (sp?) and drinks on the island. You can totally come as you are. Turned into our favorite water hole!

Like others, my wife and I ate lunch here while waiting for our flight to Isla Grande. I had the steak wrap which was very good and more than enough for one person. The wife had the beef empanadas which she said were tasty. We also shared an order of mozzarella sticks which were okay. So the food is okay,... More

After a delay with my flight I had the chance to get my grub on, I went for the cheeseburger, it was huge & yummy, loved the bread! The service was quite friendly and attentive. <3

If, like me, you plan to arrive on Vieques via tiny 10-pass puddle jumper, you should definitely stop at Isla Nena Cafe as you walk out of the airport! Order their Pain Killer drink! It tastes delicious with its fresh ground nutmeg! And it puts you into the perfect state of island relaxation!! I ordered Pain Killers at almost every... More

If you arrive in Vieques via air, you owe it to yourself to begin your relaxation and joy at this wonderful, funky, outdoor eatery. It is indeed in the airport's postage stamp-sized parking lot, permitting drinkers and diners to watch people trundle into and out of shuttles You, on the other hand, will be eating delicious food, sipping a tasty... You wouldn't think hanging out in what essentially amounts to an airport parking would be so attractive, but we couldn't wait to return to this fun cafe, where the service was awesome and the food creative and delicious. We had fun exchanges with the owners, and with other guests, and really felt welcome.

We visited Vieques for a week in April. On our departure we stopped here to eat while we waited on our flight. It was amazing! The food was the best we had anywhere on the island. The bartender/owner was a blast to hang out with! I only wish we had found this wonderful place sooner. I can't wait to return!
