Upon arrival to Vieques, my first stop is always Bananas for a Dirty Banana. Didn't disappoint again. Love!!!

This is a nice, laid back place on the Malecon, which means you are just across the street from the water. The views at sunset are spectacular. The food is good, reasonably priced, and they have quite a few gluten free options, which are marked on the menu. Tiki torches set a nice tropical mood and the music in the... More

Great drinks, food, and service. The tostones were really good. I had a bite of that crazy burger, can't recall the name, but it was full of flavor. My boyfriend was not a fan of the homemade catchup.

Celebrated my birthday dinner at Bananas just before we were gong to our Bio Bay kayak trip. We advised the waiter we were doing that so that our meal came relatively quickly. I had the whole red snapper fish and the portion was big. My son had the Mofongo and it was excellent. My daughter-in-law had the fish tacos. My... More

Dinner on the Malecon before meeting our Biobay tour group. We had the seafood mofongo and salad. Service was a bit slow, but the food was delicious. It can be noisy if you get seated right near the Malecon - better to get a table in the back where you can see the sunset without all of the cars going... More

The staff was friendly and view is fantastic. We had lunch there twice and both times the food was great. They also make a fab rum punch. It is a low key, beach place with no A/C just ceiling fans - which I like since you are at the beach and want to feel it! Fresh salads, good sandwiches and... More

Liked: the frozen pina colada was delicious. Disliked: the second floor dining room was closed and we had to eat on the first floor. Not really a big deal but I had hoped that the second floor would give us a different perspective of the Malecon

Went for lunch one day and had a delicious lunch, bartender was awesome and made delicious drinks! We went for dinner a few days later and again drinks were good, but service was kind of slow, even though they weren't busy, and food was just mediocre. I guess lunch is the way to go. Dinner not so much

This was actually our third choice of restaurant, but we couldn't get in to the other two. Thank goodness! This place was a pleasant surprise. Great service, delicious food (surprisingly sophisticated menu for such a casual place), fun atmosphere. Would certainly come back again. Like the other reviewers, I had the whole red snapper. The desserts were great too.
