We stopped there for happy hour and were treated to mixed drinks that were tasty and we were still able to walk back to our hotel in a straight line.

We ate at Bananas several times during our visits to Vieques. The tostones and rice and beans are good and the melted queso with bread was a favorite. The Pina Coladas hit the spot after a day at the beach. First come first served seating in an outdoor setting with a great ocean view.

We are here 2 times while in Vieques & it was really good both times. Prices are very reasonable & the food is fresh & tasty! The fried calamari appetizer is very tender & you can tell it's fresh. I highly recommend this place!

We came here two days in a row for happy hour...$4 rum punches! Probably the cheapest drinks on the island. The service both times was attentive. We also tried the Cuban sandwich (best I've ever had), seafood mofongo special (husband devoured), tostones (also great), and two other appetizers. We really enjoyed the food here. Also, there is an awesome water... More

Best lunch spot in Esperanza with delicious, light fish tacos and insanely cheap happy hour drinks. The wait staff is delightful. Strong pour on our margaritas despite the drink specials, too... so be careful if you've had too much sun ;)

The good: The sliders - pork and burger - were decent. Served on a "fried dough" roll. Pretty neat. Thats it for good. The bad: The service was terrible. I know we are on island time here, this was the only place I can complain about being well off then reservation as far as length of time for service, check,... More

We went here for lunch one day and the food was great. As the name implies most of the dishes have a banana twist. I had a chicken sandwich with banana's and other toppings that were delicious. The dessert was amazing too. It was a nice twist to the banana split.

We were at Bananas several times for apps. and drinks. It's a fun place to meet and the food is good for lunch or a less formal dinner.
