Charming

Ponce is a tired, old city, but charming in a voodoo-ey, New Orleans sort of way. Food wasn't superb (not much in PR is), but it was very good and the old French feel is quite romantic.

Atmosphere was really nice and located in historic downtown Ponce although its a little pricey the portions were very filling. Everything was cooked to perfection. There could be more selections on the menu .

My first visit to Las Tías was last night. I am a native of Ponce, but currently do not live there. The place is very charming, service was great, and the Chef came out to greet customers. Now to the food... I ordered the shrimp and salmon Risotto. It was simply outstanding, and the portion generous. I am usually a... More

Traditional food with a modernist approach. Delicious and well prepared. They also can accommodate special requests.

Historic house converted to restaurant keeps the homey feeling. The house keeps cozy, warming and kindness of a family house. Food is exquisite and service is provided by very kind people. Menu may vary as they offer alternatives withy fresh ingredients, fresh fish, seafood and beefs. Mixing traditional with new cuisine you will happily taste like nowhere else..

This is one of the restaurants you must visit if you come to Ponce, shows our traditions, culture in a niece invironment with a menu that might include fusion and local creole goodies. Only negative feature: too small, have to reserve ahead if you don't want to regret staying out wandering which one you must head to.

This restaurant is terrible. First, the staff was rude, similar to its nasty and rude owners. The restaurant seems to ignore "customer service": there is absolutely no custumer service. The waiter ignores you completely. Besides that, I had to wait a long time to be seated, even though there were many empty tables (wonder why the restaurant was empty). The... More
