When we initially saw the outside of the place we almost turned around. But inside it was a cozy little italian place, and we were glad we gave it a shot. We looked for good local restaurants and ate at a few, which were okay, but not fantastic, and PRICEY. We tried Trattoria and it was the best meal we had during our stay and the best service, by far. Wouldn't think that the best restaurant in Puerto Rico would be Italian! Must try! more

We stayed at the Hyatt Hacienda del mar in Dorado, and so one night we decided to get take-out from Trattoria Da Nando Ristorante. Our experience: The person who took our order on the phone was sarcastic and rude, the food was no better than "ok" and the prices were high compared to other restaurants in the area. My husband and I dined here 3 times while in Dorado. We enjoyed every meal very much. The better entrees were a little expensive but they were nicely prepared and quite good. The service is prompt and friendly. I'd go back again. more

Nando is an advisable Italian restaurant in Dorado. It's a little bit hidden in the backyard of a shopping complex, but it's worth to look for it as food is really good and staff is extremely friendly. Excellent pasta and pizza dishes and good wine list. Should we come back to Dorado, Nando will again be our choice. Werner, Switzerland more

Quiet, cozy, quality. The owner and his son run a wonderful ristorante with good drinks and great food. Tucked behind a shopping center, it is a little off the beaten path but definitely worth it. They appreciate the business, as the economy in Dorado is a bit off, and it shows in their hospitality and eagerness to please. more
