Lovely homey atmosphere with local art on the walls. Menu that had it all from meat to fresh fish of the day. My grouper was perfect as was my husbands pork chop. Shrimp cocktail started the meal and chorizo in wine. Vanillabflan was the perfect ending. If in Dorado it's a must go!

We were visiting Dorado, PR on vacation to celebrate a milestone (60 years young) birthday with family and friends. It was a great experience. The food was delicious - the lobster, of many seafood dishes, prepared to perfection! The restaurant is family owned and operated and everyone was warm, gracious and helpful. The decor and artwork in the restaurant is... More

My husband and I had dinner at El Ladrillo (The Brick) on January 14th. It is family owned and operated. Lovely hospitality and wonderful food. We both had the Fricase Pollo, a regional dish that was delicious. The service is leisurely, giving plenty of time to enjoy conversation, drinks, and the remarkable artwork. We had lots of fun with our... More

We visited on January 2nd with our entire family (adults). Between us we had the filet mignon in red wine reduction (one of the best steaks ever - and we are used to Mortons and Ruths Chris), the whole snapper, the grilled grouper, garlic and wine shrimp and seafood paella, two soups, and two desserts - all of our meals... I went, not once but twice to this establishment! !! Both times I left the kids behind because this restaurant is a romantic setting. You must make reservations, if not you will wait a long time for a table. So if you have gone and it took you forever to get service the fault is yours. The owners will personally... More

Delicious food and beautiful Restaurant! The staff was very friendly and while we went with our 3 older children and my parents, the place had a very romantic atmosphere. Beautiful paintings and artwork to look at while you wait for your food. Would definitly go again!

Our whole experience was a total let down. We wAited 2 hours for our dinner which was not worth the wait. No one came by to get us drinks after our first sangria. The staff seemed uncaring about our complaints. Other tables around us complained of the same poor service and 2 hour wait. Don't waste your time. This is... More

This unique family run restaurant is an experience in friendliness and good food - as well as a feast for the eyes. We discovered El Ladrillo our first night in Dorado and returned almost a week later, the night before leaving, and were remembered - even to the table at which we sat the first time. The four of us... More

Family run restaurant with staff who go out of their way to ensure you have a wonderful experience. The atmosphere with artwork from local artist and touches of the many years the restaurant has been around make the experience that much more enjoyable. I had the T-bone steak, which was cooked to perfection and very tasty and my friend had... More
