After a very, very active day exploring Puerto Rico, we were kind of pooped and also hundry. We had originally planned to take a taxi to a restaurant further away, but decided to just try this place since we were staying at El Convento and this is part of the hotel. We figured we could just have a few tapas... More

I've never liked Tapas as much as I have at this restaurant! The chicken and sausage dishes I had were outstanding. My finicky kids found plenty of tasty things to eat, and my wife, a Tapas aficionado, loved the flavors of the cuban influence. Service everywhere in San Juan is slow, and this restaurant is no exception. Expect to spend... More

The atmosphere is so quaint and makes you happy to sit and enjoy the surroundings. My family didn't really want to stay here because they "thought" they would not like the food. I made them stay and they were not disappointed. Sooooo wonderful. Highly recommend. Great fast service too. Best Sangria I have ever had!!!

Enjoyed dining here very much. Was a great option for hotel guests and visitors alike. OUtdoor courtyard, great music and very nice ambiance. Excellent, attentive service. Great and very reasonable wine list. Tapas were all exceptional and very tasty. A nice option in Old San Juan. Cheers!

Went to this restaurant twice for tapas at lunchtime. The first time was amazing - great atmosphere and history (located in El Convento Hotel). We shared a lovely tapas collection and some nice wine. The service was great. The second time we went, a week later, the food wasn't as good and the service a little sloppy.

The food was just wonderful (a chorizo dish; a "pulpa" dish) and the environment very pleasant (inner courtyard, the restaurant is set in an old convent, live music).

Nice place for spanish tapas al fresco. we ordered the gazpacho, calamares, papas diablo, pulpo a la gallega, and the hummus with pita bread. Everything was so tasteful and the place invites you to stay longer as you are sorrounded with spanish arquitecture. This place is located at the inside patio of the El Convento Hotel. No air conditioning needed.

The tapas were so delicious and very shareable. I hate when a place serves tapas in a way that makes them hard to share -- isn't that the point? The food was so flavorful - I still think about the goat cheese and tomato dish. And the waitress was very helpful in advising us on how many dishes to order... More
