In the heart of Old San Juan, the mofongo was very good and there was also good vegetarian options. Good for lunch.

When in Puerto Rico and traveling with a vegetarian, you may find yourself limited on options. Fortunately, I found this place when I visited San Juan with vegetarian family members. A couple of us had the seafood mofongo, which had shrimp, scallops and fish in a creole sauce. Similarly, one in our party had the vegan Mofongo, which has the... More

We visited Cafe Berlin three times while in San Juan. It was one of just a few restaurants that had vegan options AND open late. All the employees speak English well and are super helpful. Our first experience was dinner on a Thursday night where we sat outside. Nothing amazing about our sandwiches but we enjoyed them. We went back... More

Went here after visiting san cristobal. The hostess was outside and recommended we stop in. We looked at the menu and came in and got Jorge as our server. He was very very personal and immediately recommended the house blended drink for our large group of 6. We had the mango rum with 151 shots in it and ordered food.... More

The entree items were a bit pricy, but I got the amarillos, mamposteao rice, and mashed yautia from the puerto rican sides section. Filling enough for me and soooooo delicious. Might've been the best meal of my stay. Get the manjito too! There's no way you can go wrong with rum, mango, and mint! :)

My boyfriend and I are both vegan/vegetarian and were delighted by the extensive options at this restaurant. I had the Criollo tofu, which was amazing, as was the rice side that came with it. My boyfriend ordered the pasta primavera and was disappointed because a primavera should have red sauce, but this came with pesto which was weird. The dish... More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel tour guide and it turned out to be one of the best meals we had while in San Juan. I found it was one of a very few places that catered for vegetarians. The food was delish for both vegetarians and non-veg. The staff was phenomenal and I had the best margaritas ever.... More

My daughters and I come to Puerto Rico every year and this restaurant is a MUST STOP for us!! We are all vegans and we tend towards eating healthy food. Stopping at a subway or some other crappy fast food restaurant is a big NO !! The wait staff is attentive (they brought us paper towels because we had come... More
