We ate here on our last night in San Juan. A friend of my niece's who lives in San Juan during the summer months recommended this to us. They still have happy hour (2 for one) until 7 pm. I had the cubo sandwich which was excellent! Give it a try

We ate here twice. The first time we had a meal more like dinner - red snapper for me and a local specialty for my husband. Both were excellent and I'd highly recommend the restaurant. Later in the week, we stopped by for a burger at lunchtime. It was okay, but not a good as the dinner style items. Good... More

This was our second time in PR and when we went to Old San Juan we were hoping to find this restaurant. It was good food five years ago and still is today. Nothing fancy about it is right, but the atmosphere of where it is what makes it special. Service was great and prices weren't bad. They even allowed... More

We had a wonderful meal, that was lacking in almost no ways, but one that neither my wife or I could put our finger on. Worth a visit when you find yourself in Old San Juan. Also, if you're feeling particularly touristy, you can find rum in a coconut... actually a really tasty Pina Colada.

The plan was to go to La Tortuga on Calle San Sebastian in old San Juan for some Puerto Rican lunch after having read several good reviews about it. But on getting there we didn't find anything particularly Puerto Rican and were directed to their sister restaurant El Patio de Sam on the same street. The interior of El Patio... More

Nice decoration, great services, clean, friendly attendant. Killer Piñas Coladas. To us is all about Rice, Red bean, Amarillos y Biftec con cebollas. Good prices for the amount of food. Flanes y Cafe will tell you paid your bill and walk away.

We went to this restaurant after visiting El Morro. We were all starving. The atmosphere was inviting and relaxing despite been a busy hour. The waitress was nice, although a little forgetful. The food was served relatively fast and it was well presented. We all agreed that overall, the service was good and the food excellent.

After 3 hours of walking through old San Juan in 90 degree weather, we were more than ready for a cool spot to grab a bite. El Patio de Sam fit the bill. Very near El Morro and San Jose church. The fish sandwich was very tasty as were the burgers. The staff was courteous and despite a bit of... More

We stopped here during our night out in Old San Juan for a quick drink. The bartender was very helpful and recommended a local beer for my husband. When he found out it was our honeymoon, he gave us free shots and then later made sure to call a cab for us. This is a great bar!

Ignatico was our bartender/server and was great! Very Friendly! They have Mofongo, a Puerto Rican dish that is the best on the island. We have been to Puerto Rico a few times and this place has the best food hands down.
