Stopped here on a whim. Where do I begin? Nothing whatsoever to write home about. Food was very mediocre. The veal was chopped veal and tough. The paella was dry and over cooked. The onion soup was chicken broth. McDonalds would have been a better choice! Just awful and expensive to boot.

We come back again and again for the "paella" (Spanish rice with seafood). Appetizers (fried calamari, "croquettes") and sangria are also good. The coconut dessert ("flan") is also very good. Very good service in a traditional atmosphere. They have music on weekend nights. A little bit expensive but very good.

El Zipperle is a local classic restaurant, one of those legacy places with a well seasoned staff and decent food. I had the artichoke and sausage appetizer - a bit oily but very tasty. For my first time I tried Mofongo, a mixture of Cassava (Yucca root) and Plantain, with a shrimp blend. While tasty, there was more than I... More

Service is excellent in this old fashioned classic restaurant specialized in spanish and german cuisine. Many private rooms available for any party size. One of the best paellas in town.

Fresh food made daily to perfection. Excellent European flavors. Wait staff and Maitre D' are there to fulfill every need. Extra thumbs up to the Pastry Chef. I would dine here everyday if I could afford it. A good $140 spent for a couple but worth it!

The food is delicious, tasty. The servers are very attentive and polite. Good atmosphere. Plenty of parking space or valet parking available. Well located, easy to access. Perfect place for a wedding celebration or a Sweet 16 party or "Quinceañero",

I was in the mood for paella so I went direct to El Zipperle a German old fashioned restaurant in Hato Rey metro area of San Juan. Was not my first time, and I had a great paella pan at my table. All that big rice plater for me, it includes lobster instead of shrimp, a great flavorful chorizo and... More
