We were searching for a restaurant close to our hotel in San Juan. After researching on TA, we discovered one right down the street located in the Holiday Inn! I recently visited the COLADAS Restaurant in the Holiday Inn and must say it was delicious!!! I ordered the Stuffed Chicken with Plantain and mamposteao rice , gave it a A++ The service was also very good... I must also recommend the FROZEN COLADAS, and the FRIED CHEESE appetizers... When you go to a new destination, you always want to try eating something different, something local. So I thought the same thing. I stayed in the Holiday Inn of Isla Verde, in Puerto Rico. I love this restaurant....It's a hidden gem. You will never think such a great restaurant could be located inside a Holiday Inn, yet it is. Coladas is a sparkling restaurant located in the lobby of the Holiday Inn in Isla Verde. It serves delicious Puerto Rican food from the appetizers and main entrees to the scrumptious desserts. The decor is set in warm tones of red and browns amid Puerto Rican paintings and artifacts. Dining can be inside or outside on their huge wrap-around deck.... more
