We went to Budatai for dinner one evening ... we were pleasantly surprised at the number of vegetarian choices we could order - the food itself was excellent and very different in preparation and ingredients ... the cocktails menu also was very different and the ones we ordered were lovely ... a must go for anyone visiting San Juan !

This was the first restaurant we visited after arriving in San Juan. The pork dumplings were excellent. The sushi was OK, but the roasted eggplant was awful.

We went there when it first opened years ago and it was great . This time food was fair. Slightly salty food. Portions are huge. Definately not worth the price we paid for dinner.

Family of four, just fantastic food. We had steak, salmon, duck and swordfish plus great appetizers . All was truly awesome . Service was good, no down side that we could see. We are experienced dinners.

We loved the food and the restaurant setting on the 2nd floor of a building across the street from the Vanderbilt Hotel. Everything we tried was excellent, but be sure to try one of the special fried rice dishes. My main dish was a slice of pork loin and a slice of grilled pancetta. I would definitely order that again.

I enjoyed the location, food was truly very good. Portions are very small and very expensive. I was there for a business dinner and they paid, otherwise I wouldn't have been very happy. fish very fresh, interesting twists on food, but I would rather my cheap thai food at home.

Just had dinner here with the family. The decor is very tasteful and classy and the waiters were very friendly and attentive. We are vegetarian and they were able to accommodate all of our dietary needs by modifying certain non-vegetarian dishes and recommending other vegetarian dishes, all of which were tantalizingly delicious. Every dish was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed... More

my husband and I had a wonderful meal at this restaurant! great food and an amazing fusion of cultures. Roberto Trevino is an excellent chef! I had to go to his restaurant after seeing him on Food Network! Well worth the trip!

It's only a matter of time before this place sinks. It used to be really good, then OK; finally, neither my wife or I will go back. What's the problem? Smugness, lack of vision, blandness, uninspiring, expensive (bad value for what you get) weird entrance, murky light. We are locals who dine out a lot; will not go back unless... More
