The food is very interesting. It is a combination of puertorrican and oriental tastes. The restaurant is a little bit rundown. Needs remodeling. The service was good

This was my first visit to San Juan. We ate at Budatai for an early dinner. The pork dumplings with truffles were outstanding. I also had the spicy tuna and chicken lo mein which was very fresh and delicious. The drinks and music provided a nice chic vibe; I would recommend this restaurant to everyone visiting the Condado area.

Normally I am not a HUGE fan of Asian "fusion" restaurants as they tend to miss the mark. However, I thought Budatai did a great job of infusing Asian (mainly Chinese) with Latin American cuisine. Service was great, our waitresses was lovely and had some nice suggestions. The view looking out over the ocean was beautiful. We ordered 3 dim... More

We went to Budatai for dinner one evening ... we were pleasantly surprised at the number of vegetarian choices we could order - the food itself was excellent and very different in preparation and ingredients ... the cocktails menu also was very different and the ones we ordered were lovely ... a must go for anyone visiting San Juan !

This was the first restaurant we visited after arriving in San Juan. The pork dumplings were excellent. The sushi was OK, but the roasted eggplant was awful.

We went there when it first opened years ago and it was great . This time food was fair. Slightly salty food. Portions are huge. Definately not worth the price we paid for dinner.

Family of four, just fantastic food. We had steak, salmon, duck and swordfish plus great appetizers . All was truly awesome . Service was good, no down side that we could see. We are experienced dinners.

We loved the food and the restaurant setting on the 2nd floor of a building across the street from the Vanderbilt Hotel. Everything we tried was excellent, but be sure to try one of the special fried rice dishes. My main dish was a slice of pork loin and a slice of grilled pancetta. I would definitely order that again.

I enjoyed the location, food was truly very good. Portions are very small and very expensive. I was there for a business dinner and they paid, otherwise I wouldn't have been very happy. fish very fresh, interesting twists on food, but I would rather my cheap thai food at home.
