This place has good food and considres itself a Cuban Restaurant, although there is Cuiban food it is very limited and therefore i would not call it a full blown restaurant. The name ropa vieja is an authentic Cuban Dish of shreded beef, but could of been better if you are going to name your restaurant after one of your... More

We dined at Ropa Vieja to experience a more traditional Puerto Rican meal. It was very good. The restaurant was really nice and the atmosphere was great. I had the best glass of iced tea of my life with my meal. :)

We ate here in March 2013. Great food, choice of wine by glass. Fast forward to July 2014 We get bum's rush at door. No, I wasn't wearing shorts. They told me no tables in dining room. ( I saw at least 6) open tables. Took us to bar. High table that wobbled. No more good choice of wine by... More

Our waiter was very attentive and fun (older guy). I had the ropa vieja mofongo which was delicious. I don't remember what the others in our group had, but for the most part everyone was happy w/ their meal. The food is Puerto Rican/Island style and was well prepared and authentic. The restaurant is an easy walk from the hotels... More

Needed a Cuban fix! Really great sampler appetizer that was more Puerto Rican. Samples of several great meats and plantains. Sangria was really great. Picadillo was salty, but great served with Puerto Rican beans and rice, plantains. Waiter was ver attentive. A great deal of their business appeared to be locals which always is a good sign.

Great atmosphere, you definitely come here for the various risotto fusion dishes. Particularly the black bean and seafood risotto dishes! A one of a kind dish!

We had the fried risotto balls and the shrimp with garlic for appetizers- both were great. We ordered the Ropa Vieja, which had come highly recommended- it was so super tender, we paired it with the rice and black beans and the fried yello plantains for sides- the combo of flavors was fantastic!

This is an authentic Puerto Rican grill. The prices are awesome - especially for the amount of food you get. Also, the service was top notch. They were very accommodating and quick. I got the grilled skirt steak with olive oil and herbs and it was amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant.

This place gets crowded fast late in the evening so be prepared to wait. The food is amazing. My daughter had the shrimp with garlic sauce and she loved it like she was starving. The mofongo is to die for and the sangria can get you in trouble if you keep drinking. We loved it because of the location to... More
