Very good French bistro experience. Authentic

The owner and maitre is french, so he takes care of making his restaurant an authentic bistro experience. The food is excellent, good selections on the menu. The wine list is ok, but has good value wines. The service is good, but sometimes incosistent. The staff is friendly. Is big enough so most... read more

We had a tasty prix fixe meal. The beef entree was tender and came with a not too strong Roquefort sauce. The chicken entree was stuffed with spinach and mushrooms and was delicious. One of the desserts was merengue floating in a wonderful vanilla sauce; the other was a chocolate mousse paired with a delicate cream and raspberry sauce. Starters... More

This bistro is very romantic, with dim lights decorated in the typical french bistro style, with beautiful floors, antique furniture, and velvet curtains. The menu is the stander Bistro fair done to perfection. Service is great, the owner is always around making sure all is running well. This place is perfect for a special occasion or for a light lunch.... More

Iced tea! Honest to goodness iced tea!! After almost a week without it, imagine my delight to be offered, and refilled frequently, a ice cold glass of unsweetened tea---just the way I like it!! We ordered an appetizer--a tart with bacon, onion and cheese; light and airy just like a flatbread should be. They don't call it a "tart" because... More

The restaurant was clean, few customers for dinner, good staff, but I got food poisoning from the escargot. I had not had escargot for a long time but this one was bathed in oil and parsley and it tasted different I couldn't quite make it through all the oil. Once I left the place I went to the theater with... More

I'm a local and this is the best French restaurant in San Juan. The decor and overall ambiance is cozy and picturesque. Really feels like your in a bistro in Paris. The food was phenomenal. My wife had the trout and I had the steak. Both were cooked perfectly with a simple but delicious sauce. The wine was great too.... More

During our two month vacation in Puerto Rico, this was the most disappointing and expensive for what we got restaurant. My sister and I ordered the three course daily special and my husband ordered the onion soup and the Churraso steak. We also ordered a bottle of wine and a bottle of water. My sister and I both ordered the... More

I live in San Juan, so when my mother in law came to visit and we wanted to go out to dinner, this was the first place I thought of. It isn't a modern restaurant, it is quite classic. The dishes are true to the culture and not adapted to the local pallet or fused with local cuisine; this is... More

I've been here on a few occasions and the food and wine/champagne may be delightful but service is just awful!! You're waiting 45 min for a menu. They bring the wine and leave, then open the bottle 15 minutes later because you're flagging down the waiter! Trying to pay is another hassle for them to bring the check. Delightful place... More

Had not visited them since they moved to this location a few years ago. Loved the atmosphere , decor and food. Decided to step in after attending an exhibition at the Museo de ARTE de Puerto Rico which is across the street. The onion soup I ordered was very good as well as the red wine, Rigal. The bar area...
