I had dinner here with a Puerto Rican friend and it's a good thing because I probably never would have found it on my own - a small hole in the wall place with a great menu. I opted for the chicken asopao, which came steaming hot and was wonderfully tasty. Service is a little slow (it's obviously a local... more

That seemed to be the running theme of our entire stay in Puerto Rico. Either the food is good, and service is bad, or vice versa. We did not encounter one restaurant with good food and good service. Pros: *Great food Cons: *Very poor service. Our waitress took 30 minutes to bring back our drinks, and 1 hour to bring... more

We've gone to Puerto Rico for the last two years and have always made a point of eating there several times during our stay. Yes, you may have to wait awhile for a table, but that's usually only during prime dinner times. Go a little earlier for dinner, say, 4:30, and you shouldn't have to wait. They have great lunch... more

Food: Absolutely deliciaous!! But that's the best I can say for this restaurant... Service: Terrible... The waiter wwas friendly enough, but very slow. Easlily distracted by his cowrokers and friends that were coming in to visit him. He didn;t check on us very often, we had to wait several minutes just to be seated, then like 10 more minutes for... more

I recently was staying at the HOLIDAY INN, in Isla Verde, and wanted to eat something classic from Puerto Rico. So I went there with my sister, and it took forever to get a table because the employees where to busy talking and making jokes to each other. Then another long time waiting to be served the menu, and asked... more

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel, and we were looking forward to trying traditional Puerto Rican fare. However, as soon as we entered this restaurant we felt unwelcome. There is NO waiting area, so we just stood for a while inside the door. We were observed by both waitstaff and patrons; in fact, we were practically standing over one... more

If you have unlimited patience, take pleasure in an unfriendly, unwelcoming host and wait staff and like lukewarm food, this is the place for you. The food was generally delicious albeit not hot enough, and they have a lot to learn about customer service. Not a place that deserves any tourist's dollars. Cross this one off your list! more

The best thing about this small diner (in a strip mall across from the Intercontinental) was the value! 2 eggs with homefries and puertorrican bread for 2.95!! I got that the first time and was very pleased. the homefries were different that what we are used to. They are not crispy - but soft and cheesy. The puertorrican bread is... more
