If you are tire of Mofongo, pass by. We ate delicious Caciki, Dolma, Doner and Greek Salad. The best.

Istanbul is a small, simple cafe in Old San Juan. The service is excellent, they have plenty of vegetarian options. The gozleme is amazing!

Service is excellent, prices very affordable. Lamb any way you can think about. Parking lots across the street. Two blocks from cruise ship docks. We did not make reservation. Went on Wednesday night.

From appetizers like stuffed grape leaves and creamy hummus with piping-hot pita, to tasty lamb and chicken entrees, to homemade baklava for desert, Istanbul provides a marvelous taste of the Mediterranean in the heart of Old San Juan. Service was friendly and fast, portions were plentiful, and the price was right -- two appetizers, two entrees, one glass of wine,... More

This little cafe is really amazing. People end up going next door to Raices but they don't know what they're missing. Maybe it is because the Cafe looks very small, and there are no people hanging outside trying to lure you in. The food in Isanbul is simply amazing. This is the 2nd time I've eaten there as it was... Everytime that I visit Puerto Rico, I try to go as many times as I can to this restaurant. My favorite dish is the Ottoman lamb casserole, yummy!!! I have also tried other dishes, and I have never been dissapointed.

My husband and I ate there for supper after having fried food at a stand in the rain forest for lunch. We ordered cucumber dip, Turkish apple tea, Greek salad, and lamb pita. All of the food was very good. The Turkish apple tea was wonderful. I had not had it since I was in college, so I was glad... More

I visited today, for lunch. The place is small, but clean and simple. The wait for service was rather long, but worth it. We had the cheese borek appetizer and the chicken ottoman casserole and the kofte casserole as main dishes. They were great! No question about it. The prices are rather steep, but since we don't plan on coming... More

I have to admit, I was quite surprised to find good Middle Eastern food in the middle of Puerto Rico. We ordered Dolma for appetizers (seasoned rice stuffed in grape leaves)... They were fantastic. Probably the best I ever had! For dinner i ordered the gyro, which i was very pleased with. My husband got the chicken curry which had... More
