Excellent Lunch for a Day Tripper

I was on a cruise and decided to prebook lunch and a lounger at Pamela's in Ocean Park for my port "excursion". I had a choice of pan fried snapper fillet or a chicken dish. Both came with yellow rice and veggies. I chose the snapper, which is usually not my favorite, but this was the best... read more

We did an excursion through islandmarketing.com. Had a beach day including drinks and lunch for a modest price. The beach was nice. Food was really good. Would do this again.

It was extremely charming, the location. And wonderful view and tasty food. But as can be expected at fancy places, small portions with sky high prices.

Aside from the fact that it was a little more out of the way than most others activities or attractions we had done... it was a wonderful experience. EXCELLENT chef... with quality tasteful food. We had the restaurant pretty much to ourselves because we chose to vacation during the week... but the service was exceptional anyways. I ordered the Mango... More

My husband and I decided to dine here for our first dinner in Puerto Rico. I really wanted to sit on the beach and hear the waves roll in as we ate - in this manner, it was exactly what I had hoped for. However, the food, the prices, and the service had much to be desired. We both ordered... More

We took a large group of girls here for an afternoon brunch on the beach during my future sister-in-law's Bachelorette. The view was tranquil and gorgeous, the food was yummy, passionfruit mimosas were flowing, and the service was very nice. We wined and dined and took our time and thoroughly enjoyed spending the afternoon at Pamela's!

The food was very good here and the wait staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We had a nice table right on the sand so the atmosphere was great. Everyone in our group of 8 enjoyed their meal very much.

I was a little skeptical of a dinner on the beach. What about bugs and sand and all the other distractions. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were at the end of the road and the building had bars on the window. Our party of 18 pushed the door bell, because the door also had bars and was locked.... We go to Pamela's every time we're in San Juan. The food and service are very good and dinner on the beach is special. So why the mediocre rating? This was our second visit on this trip. I generally go over the itemized bill but I admit it's sometimes a cursory review. This time the person I was with thought... More

Following rather mixed reviews in TA we decided to try it ourselves since we stayed only two blocks away. We got a nice table on the beach but had to rush inside only 20 mins later due to a tropical shower. Very flexible and helpful service from our waiter. The menu offers about ten choices for starters and the same... More
