Very nice restaurant, expensive ($170 for three people, with only two glasses of wine). The food was good, but our waiter attempted to put additional items on our check. This sort of thing has happened to us frequently in Mexico and Belize, but this was the first time that it happened in Puerto Rico. When I told that waiter about... more

Pamela's was OK. Nothing special. The beach access and lounge chairs are what keeps them in business. We went a few blocks East to Uwa , which cost more but was so worth it. more

We were glad to find this restaurant for a lovely last day in San Juan. The food was wonderful, the mojitos specially made for our taste, and great service. We were there for the tapas menu. The tapas and dessert were excellent. We wish we had found this place earlier in our stay. more

My sister and I were staying a few blocks away from Numero Uno Guest House when we decided to spend an afternoon at the beach. We thought about getting a day pass to a big hotel, but at more than $30 for the few hours we wanted to spend figured we could do better. We did - much better! I... more

Walked out of Uva's after 20 minutes waiting for service from a waittress who could not care less and were pleasantly surprised by the attentive service and gourmet food they serve, even at lunch! We ordered the Cod and the Mahi Mahi and loved it. We have never experienced such gourmet food ON THE BEACH! The only thing we feel... more

I always look forward to eating at Pamela's. The food is consistently very good, the service is excellent and the setting, right on the beach, is excellent. Overall, a great place to stop, eat, and relax. more

My hubby and I ate at Pamela's and this had to be the greatest food in the world. This restaurant was recommended to us and we were skeptical but it was the best. My husband enjoyed the cod and I had salmon. The waiter, Ruben, was extremely helpful and we will be eating there again when returning to Puerto Rico. more

We spent about an hour driving around finding this restaurant that was highly recommended in Fodor's--as it is on the beach and there are lots of one way, tiny streets alternating with gated communities on the way. Location looked great, right on the beach. When we arrived, all but one of the outside tables was empty (that one being occupied... more

Had reservations here for Valentine's Day this year. Reserved in advance, but my reservations were for indoors, as the beach tables were booked. I was excited to find out when we arrived that they could squeeze us in to a beach table. Made the evening more romantic! The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent - all of it. Our server... more
