Fast service, good Mexican entrees and good portioning

This busy eatery is a worth a visit for lunch or dinner. The pricing is just about right, neither a bargain nor expensive and the food is generally quite consistent. If you were to dine here 5 times not much would change from one visit to the next. It is unique in its method of service (in that... read more

It has been a while since we went to this mexican restaurant and it has changed a lot... First of all theres so many servers and they don't seem to communicate effectivly between them, because they kept asking if we were being attended. Then after they served us the drinks we waited around 10 minutes that nobody showed and I... More

I frequent this restaurant on many occasions and have always had a good experience. If you are looking for a peaceful restaurant it's not it can get loud between the people talking and the mariachis it's all fun

We met friends for lunch and they introduced us to this wonderful spot. The pico de gallo was delicious and so were the nachos. I ordered the Ensalada de Norteña de pollo for my entrée and I'm still thinking about it today!

Aurorita has been there for ever. I have been visiting since 1990 and the food and menu is the same you had years ago. no frills..just good Mexican food and drinks. It's the neighborhood place for many ...you might get to see your high school teacher there or the governor with his family and no fuss. If in town do visit.

My husband decided it would be a good idea to go to a place called Auroritas on a Friday night for a family dinner (with our 6 year old). First with the negatives: the place was packed!! They have 3 different parking lots and they were all full so an attendant told us that we could leave them the keys... More

This is a fun place and is full Sunday evening Usually the line forms on the steps outside but the line moves fast and usually you are seated in less than 20 minutes They have a large staff of trained waiters and move you in and out quite efficiently The food is generally good

The carnitas at this restaurant are the best that I have ever eaten. Everytime I am in Puerto Rico, I have to eat at Auroritas and I always have the carnitas. The pork is so juicy and tender. Their homemade salsa is quite spicy but amazing. Definitely my top Mexican restaurant!

Let me tell you something first. If you come to Puerto Rico and you plan on having real authentic Mexican food then you have to ask the right people. The vast majority of "Mexican" places are really Tex-Mex. If your taco is topped with lettuce and tomato instead of parsley and onions it is not Mexican. That being said Aurorita... More
