Great Tex-Mex restaurant in San Juan.

Let me tell you something first. If you come to Puerto Rico and you plan on having real authentic Mexican food then you have to ask the right people. The vast majority of "Mexican" places are really Tex-Mex. If your taco is topped with lettuce and tomato instead of parsley and onions it is not... read more

You must start with regular, classic margaritas to join the fun that every table seems to be enjoying. And then order your regular mexican food. Everything in the menu is good. Try the melted cheese and the 'pico de gallo' for starters. Then get the tacos or enchiladas. Great, fun evening. You can have one sangrita at the end of... More

This place is far from being authentic mexican restaurant. The only authentic about mexico is their owners some decor and name on dishes. Althoug food is very good tasty and fullfiling. The service is good. The tacos are very good and tasty usually you reorder once you get the first serving. The prices are very reasonable and in the menu... More

I decided to check out this out after winning Sal's best tacos in Puerto Rico. Even though I did not have the tacos, this place was flat out amazing. The food is very good, but the service sets this place apart. By far the best service I've received on the island. If you want good Mexican, head here. Plenty of... More

We had a great gathering of friends here, 8 of us in total. The pico de gallo as an appetizer was awesome! Their margaritas are great. I had the chicken chalupas & would highly recommend them...everyone enjoyed their food...be prepared for a short wait to be seated...service is friendly & fast!

Ok,so this place is noisy, and full everyday, and maybe you don't really like a Mariachi band interrupting your meal , but....The food is really good! Don't expect high Mexican cuisine..this place serves straight uncomplicated really delicious Mexican food. Very good "Pico de gallo","queso fundido" ,etc..you get the idea, and the Margaritas are very, very good. This restaurant started more than 40 years ago... More

We were a total of 9 persons, We had 3 double Fajitas for two people all they gave was 5 tortillas for each couple? 2.5 for each? don't worry they'll give you 5 more for $2.00. Didn't give you sour cream or tomatoes? don't worry they'll charge you $2.00 more each. Food is good (not great), Mariachis are good. OOOh... More
