We stopped in here at the suggestion of a family friend and were quite surprised by the quality of the food and the local flair of the restaurant. This is definitely the place to stop in if you want to get a taste of local foods and cuisine. We ordered sandwiches for brunch and were pleased by the options available!... More

After 3 days having excellent lunch and dinner in old San Juan's finest restaurants we thought all restaurants in Old San Juan are the good ones. Well not until we stepped into this SIGLO XX restaurant. Everything went wrong in this restaurant. My wife ordered Chicken w/white garlic sauce and mushrooms and fried sweet plantain and rice, and I ordered... More

This was one of 3 restaurants that I specifically traveled to Puerto Rico for. I HAD to have to paella and I was not disappointed. It was AWESOME! A bit pricey, but bear in mind it serves 2, AND..it is some of the best paella in the world! It was WONDERFUL!

This restaurant in the heart of old San Juan is not fancy. And it is not pricey. It is where the locals go for good Puerto Rican food at a reasonable price. Their specialty is Paella, and also serve Spanish Tapas. Service is quick and efficient, and the ambiance colorful. I had a great meal there for less than $30.00.

Located at calle Fortaleza and close to Teatro Tapia. Half block from Plaza de Colon. Specialty is Paella. You will find all kind of food. This restaurant is one of the oldest restaurant in San Juan. Great selection of drinks.

My wife and I chanced upon this place at lunchtime during a walk around Old San Juan – and nearly passed it by because the exterior is so unprepossessing. The place was about half full, but the patrons were mainly locals enjoying a leisurely meal. The decor is plain and the service was not particularly attentive, but the cuisine was... More

We made the huge mistake of stopping to eat dinner here and we were very disappointed. The waiter didn't seem to even care we were there despite the place being almost empty. The kicker was the dead roaches all over the floor and live ones crawling in the women's bathroom. I recommend you skip this place for sure!

This restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside, however it is basically right across from Casa Blanchard and when we were looking for somewhere to have breakfast we decided to try it. This was the best breakfast I has the entire time I was in San Juan. I can't wait to go back! As my boyfriend tends to eat... More

Tired from walking up & down the cobbled streets & then we saw their sign that read "The Best Paella in Town". So that drew us in. Outside it didn't seem much but as you enter, people were there eating enjoying their lunch. We ordered their "famous" paella ($38 for 2 people) & boy was it a treat. Nothing too... More
