Terrible. It had a good vibe in the beginning but it was crammed in a small space and full of staring gays at the bar. The bread was very good: it was hot and freshly baked. Unfortunately, it came with a kind of alioli that tasted like mayonnaise that I did not enjoy. The baby octopus were terrifying: pale, purple... More

There is no doubt that it makes little sense to eat off ship when you are on a cruise with Royal Caribbean. But sometimes you get daring and this was one of those days. We had relaxed for an hour at the old hotel opposite in the ex-convent hotel El Convento. My son told me there was this really great... More

After being assured by the owner that he could accommodate a reservation for 12 at his establishment I went ahead and booked a reservation. He had mentioned that he had another party that night but it would be ok. Upon arrival I realized that we are being seating on the dance floor at a make shift table with folding chairs... More

The place is nice and the 3 ladies' flamenco too. Sama with the kind stewards but what a horrible cooking.. The chicken in oranges couldnt be eatten, the sefood dish was fair.. Mofongo appetizer was good. Mahi mahi entree with garlic sauce was recommended but very strong on the garlic. The suckling pig my husband ordered tasted "off" definitely not fresh, so I didn't have a second bite. Romantic atmosphere for couples until the flamenco dancing starts! It's great for those adventurous to learn and join.

Paella is a must with some beef tripe and you can do the flamenco show on Friday and Saturday... a definite must of Old San Juan

We took our volleyball team to this restaurant and had amazing food, fun and dancing! The entertainment was worth the whole trip to Old San Juan. A must do experience when visiting Old San Juan!!!

We enjoyed mofongo with chicken in creole sauce here in this delghtful and intimate restaurant. The sangria is also quite nice. It is across from the Convento which is now a hotel.

This was one of the stops on our Flavors of San Juan food tour. We made our own Mofango, learned the history of Monfango and had rice and beans. Food was great. My wife got Sangria that was also good. In the 1500s this was a jail and looks a bit like a tunnel inside. If you don't go here... More

We were not impressed. The skirt steak, was salty. The waiter, did not communicate "favorites". The Sangria, was better than the meal!
