Outstanding!

We ate at Rosa de Triana twice on our trip, it was that good. Very convenient, right across the plaza from El Convento. The ambiance was special--the building is very old, dating back to the early days of San Juan. Low ceilings, whitewashed walls, black and white photos along the walls. There... read more

It was a wonderful evening & our server was attentive as well as gracious. We had a nice size party and we ordered tapas to accommodate everyone's taste. Everything from the ambiance to, to the sangria was excellent. Thank you for a wonderful time and the finest food and gracious Puerto Rico hospitality.

Stopped in on a hot day for lunch and had a pitcher of really good sangria. They have ice cold AC in there which was great. We shared about 5 types of tapas and all were very good. The staff was very good too.

My husband and I went there and he wasn't feeling well. They bent over backward to be kind and were extremely attentive. We had lovely bread (hot and crusty on the outside, warm and soft inside) as well as some puerto rican dishes we hadn't tried yet. Really interesting as this was the first city hall and also the first... More

Really enjoyed this lovely restaurant in one of the oldest buildings in San Juan. Enjoyed Sangria and tapas. Garlic shrimp was terrific and favorite of the 5 items we tried. Complimentary shot at meal end and an amazing cappuccino.

We had eaten here last year and enjoyed it. When we returned this year on our first night in Old San Juan we were looking forward to some good tapas. Alas, we were disappointed. Nothing had much flavour, the calamares were luke warm, our tapas all arrived at the same time crowding our table and going cold. Langoustine were bland... More

Every time I find myself in Puerto Rico, I go to this place. It's an amazing find a friend recommended. The tapas are very authentic, the service was great, the staff was super friendly. The best part of the meal was the cute patio.. sitting there having sangria and amazing tapas was the highlight of my vacation. Remember to order... More

We stumbled upon this patio (located a building behind main restaurant) over Easter Weekend . Ate there with our 4 kids, ages 10-18. Loved the atmosphere. Fantastic Tapas and wonderful, simple fish dishes. Kids loved the plantains, garlic shrimp and calamari. Grouper with beans was excellent. I'm no expert on Spanish food, but it did seem wonderfully authentic to me!... More

Had the chicken Mofongo, has to be one of the best ever! Chicken was awesome. Seasoned mildly just right. All the flavors came together. A MUST stop in San Juan!

Beautiful small restaurant with authentic food and flamenco. Make sure to get reservations on time, they dance flamenco from 8:30 pm- 10 pm. The dancing was beautiful and the food was delicious! I had the mofongo and tostones with shrimp! Very good food at a good price!
