I'm not sure I need to say more. The staff was friendly. They made excellent recommendations. The ham, egg, and cheese sandwich was delicious. My group went back several times for breakfast & pastries.

Not your average little bakery...more like a full-service deli with great baked goods (think a scaled down bakery version of Katz's deli in NYC). We came here for some light baked goods (tasty) while waiting to be picked up for our Rainforest tour, and again to pick up some pre-made pork and ham mini-baguette sandwiches & tiny cakes for lunch... We visited here twice on our stay in PR. Once for lunch and once for breakfast. We were not disappointed either time! The sandwiched are delicious and the bread is incredible. We had the Cuban and the tuna with pasta salad. We also got an order of the shrimp to take with us and it was so good! We liked... More

Great local diner. Stand up service and communal tables with really good and tasty food served up quickly. All the savoury options sounded great and the pastries on display looked really good too. I tried the jamon, queso y huevo sandwich for breakfast which was excellent and a good size. The selection of chocolates, cookies and other sweet treats available... More

This place has one of the best steak sandwiches and turkey and cheese sandwiches in PR. Local "Panaderia" which is a great lunch option. It's great for breakfast or brunch as well. Chill, relax and casual with community tables. The place is clean as well. Great coffee

I heard so many high recommendations about this place, I guess that got my expectations pretty high. The pastries/desserts are good, a large variety. But other than that, I found the other offerings to be pretty basic. Maybe it's because I'm used to Puerto Rican food daily. I guess to someone who doesn't have it all the time, their menu... More

If your a coffee snob and have active taste buds, this is a great place for some great coffee, delicious pastries, and simple jamon y queso sandwiches. Be ready to order because the person behind the counter is looking to move the line!!! This is the one spot I do not miss when I'm in PR.

The pastries alone had me hooked, not to mention fresh hot soups, sandwiches, and espresso! Neighborhood spot with all the locals, friendly staff, and great scenery of ocean park. Check it out!!!

We asked our hotel for a recommendation for an authentic Puertoriccan bakery and they recommended Kasalta. It was worth the ten minute taxi ride from Cordano Beach. We not only had breakfast at Kasalta everyday, we took sandwiches back to our hotel to enjoy on the beach for lunch. MUCH better than hotel food and cheaper. Be prepared to stand... More
