We asked for two coffees was asked if I wanted sugar, said yes. Total was $2.68 sat down and it had milk in both coffees. My mom was ok w it but I wasn't it. I went back and asked for black coffee and that I didn't ask for milk. She stated black coffee cost an additional 80 cents. Are... More

The Oreo Cheesecake is really good. It's always really busy here. I usually get it to go and then walk over to the beach somewhere. The prices aren't bad either. I had the Cubana which was also a good choice. Good atmosphere, I have yet to sit down there, but it looks like a good place to sit and eat.... More

Disapointed that there was no English speaking staff on the evenings nor English language menu description of food. Tables were not always clean.

The best.....Brazo Gitano (variety of guaba, dulce de leche, cream.....). Sandwiches are delicious, better if accompanied with a hot soup.

This is a very popular place at all hours. They do have valet parking as spots are very limited. As many other reviews have stated the staff does not speak English. We went there several times during our visit and with some pointing and nodding were always able to get what we wanted. Their pastries and baked goods are amazing.... More

Bakery is nice, coffee is good. Cubano was super dry. Long line with menu by register so decide fast. Family style dining.

This is one of the most expensive breakfast/lunch places around and fancy looking (maybe because of Obama's visit) but the coffee is fantastic and not too expensive

This is a restaurant for the locals that tourists luckily discover. Once you get the hang of it it makes perfect sense, and you will continue to come back. If two of you come one person (who hopefully can speak some Spanish) can stand in the food line and the other in the coffee/pastry line. Word to the wise, if... More

We had breakfast here during our trip to San Juan, and loved it! The food and coffee was amazing, and the ambiance couldn't be beat. We were sad that it took us to the last day to find this place, because I would have eaten here every day if I knew about it earlier. I had a Mallorca sandwich, which... More
