A local's place for a good breakfast sandwich

I really enjoyed a breakfast sandwich I had here on Sunday morning. The lady at the counter suggested jamon y huevos - ham with an egg sunny side up. Not disappointed at all. Crisp yet flaky bread. Great coffee as well It seem to be a place for the neighborhood and locals. Some parking spots... read more

If you want to eat a real Puertorican sandwich presidential style, this is the place. President Barack Obama had breakfast here with Alejandro Garcia Padilla Puerto Rico Governor. The best the sandwiches, all of them. Good coffee and tapas. Don't forget the Croquetas de Jamon and the Chorizo.

Food was ok, but $9.45 for a Cuban with light meat? Pastrami was also good but light on the meat. Lots of pastry options.

My family has been going to San Juan forever 10 years. We walk here for breakfast from the Caribe a few times a visit. It's a bit of a hike but the coffee and quisitos are worth it. The oatmeal is also great. I highly recommend.

This place has it all from pastries to sandwiches to salads. Everything I had was amazing. This is a great local bakery that I highly recommend for breakfast or lunch. The best part is everything is fresh, super good and very inexpensive. I highly recommend you get away from the over priced tourist trap bakeries where you will pay more... More

Very generous sandwiches, lovely pastries, and great espresso. Casual place where you order at the counter, and can get food to stay or go.

At Kasalta you can find a little bit of everything! The huge sandwiches are awesome to tame your hunger after a day at the beach! They have breakfast all they long, which is a good thing because that is my favorite meal of the day. Everything is fresh and the pastries are super yummy. The coffee is strong and the... More
