We stayed at the El Convento Hotel so it was just super quick walk over to Il Perugino. Service there is impeccable and the food was so delicious. The portions are small but the food is just so yummy satisfying. It is a little expensive for the amount of food you get, but the food and service justify the price. more
We were in San Juan for five nights and Il Perugino was a highlight of our trip. The food, service and atmosphere were superb. The wait staff was extremely friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Expensive italian food, actually served by Italians! The wine list was extensive and expensive. Menu was rather limited but everything was fresh. I was a little disappointed by the bread. The room is deep in Old San Juan and kitschy in decor, but the ceiling is tall and the offerings quickly direct your focus to the food, which is superb.
