Overall the experience was excellent. We went on a Sunday and the restaurant closed at 10. The only negative was we were the last diners and the staff seemed to be ready to go home and we felt a bit rushed finishing our expresso martinis (which were fantastic!) Had we arrived earlier and not felt rushed this review would be... More

A well decorated restaurant which offers excellent high end cuisine. We started with the Pegao, this is sort of a Puerto Rican twist on sushi, small pieces of crispy fried rice topped with nice sized bites of raw tuna capped with a chipotle mayo. Delicious but noisy, just about impossible to chew the rice quietly. I had the pan seared... More

Well now, Caleb, Thank you so much for the glowing review. It's always heartwarming to hear that the Pegao was delicious. I am also thrilled to hear that you and your wife both enjoyed your entrees. I do encourage you to try the souffles for dessert next time! I promise you'll enjoy them. Cheers, Chef Wilo, Owner More

The mark of any good restaurant is a talented chef, attention to detail and exquisite service. None of these attributes are lacking at Pikayo. This shining example of culinary cuisine is located in a beautiful setting within the Condado Plaza in the Condado section of San Juan. The food and service were off the charts and make this restaurant a... More

The restaurant is much bigger than it used to be, and they've managed to maintain the quality and service as the original site. The chef is very famous and highly regarded in P.R. and internationally. He has a very creative and excellent menu, with various original recipes based on puertorrican food. He presents and elevated and gourmet version of local... More

By far the BEST steak and swordfish we've ever had. Try the beef tenderloin alcapurrias - you won't regret it. Servers are everywhere, so if you have questions about the menu or need assistance, you won't have to wait long. Very expensive, but it's worth the price you pay. Service, food, atmosphere- impeccable. We recommend getting a reservation via the... More

I flew here from Chicago for a few days and from a person that loves food, and travelled to various countries across the globe with different cuisines. This is definitely a must have! Literally every dish that was served was impeccably delicious. Out of the top restaurants in Puerto Rico that I enjoyed this was the best hands down!

My first visit to Pikayo was in 2014 when they had a prefixed menu. My absolute favorite was a crab or lobster miso soup - DELICIOUS! The broth, I was told, was made with a lemons from Japan. It was AMAZING! I could have had several bowls! Definitely enjoyed my first meal there and my second meal. The third meal... More
