Extraordinary food, extraordinary experience

I have dined at Marmalade before but this time we went to celebrate my sister's birthday. They gave us champagne and a birtday "cake" the 5 courses in between were delicious. Service and decor were impecable. Will return again.

From the time we walked in we knew this place would be great! We were welcomed in by the Chef Peter and his wife. The decor is funky but simple. The atmosphere is quiet and romantic. Our waitress was attentive and informative. We did the wine pairing which was excellent! The food was very good from beginning to end! My... More

Everyone recommended this place. Everyone. I made reservations 2 weeks before going to San Juan. It was an excellent dining experience. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere is funky. I don't think it will be a meal to remember, but very worth going to.

The Marmalade was recommended to me by a Puerto Rican friend as a place to take my wife for her birthday. We were both SO glad I took his advice! The restaurant, staff, and food was incredible! Chef Peter visited our table as we were viewing the menu and explained all the dishes to us, took our order, and sent... More

We stopped by Marmalade as a recommendation from one of the locals and we are glad we did. Even though we did not have a reservation, they were able to accommodate us at their community table. Every course we had we superb. Made me wish they had a restaurant in Houston. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The menu changes... More

Bean soup is delicious. The family is sweet and accommodating. Wait staff was very friendly and made sure that we ordered well.

Amazing all around. From the drinks to the service. Marmalade is elegant and peaceful in decor. We started with the global warming cocktail (habanero infused ice, cranberry juice, vodka, salted rim, with a sprinkle of hibiscus and basil leaves) and the Jimi Hendrix (mint, lime, fresh cucumber juice, jalapeno and Hendricks gin). Delightful and spicy creations. The popcorn shrimp appetizer... More

We have eaten at top rated restaurants around the world, but this was the best ever. Each course was a synthesis of the best of international flavor and fresh ideas. The golden beet salad had surprise citrus and comforting goat cheese, the quinoa gnocchi had parsnips that would make anyone eat them and kale--who knew it could taste like this?... More

This restaurant was really good, I did a tasting menu which was nice to get the idea of the whole menu. Going back though I would probably go a la carte as I got the idea and was too full to move, the tasting menu is good for at least the first time though, especially with wine/beverage pairing.
