Great overall experience, came on a Saturday night very busy we had 8:45 reservation and sat promptly. Decor is great, chairs are extremely comfortable. Food was innovative and delicious, service was outstanding never rushed and very informative. Great value for quality you are getting.

Great vibe from the front door in. Attention to every detail, including creative glassware making cocktails that much more interesting. Truly a 5 for food creativity, diversity and taste, so possibly even more interesting with a larger group for sharing. But, their recovery on a mini- disaster is why we will be loyal. Bus person knocks our wine bottle off... More

The first 2 courses my wife and I chose for our tasting menu were truly spectacular and I hoped that we were in for one of the best meals of our lives. Unfortunately, the entree dishes we each selected were excessively salty and the deserts were a disappointment. The wine pairings offered were delightful and surprising.

Marmalade tops many of the best restaurants in New York, Chicago or Paris. We ordered the five course tasting with wine pairing. Each course was excellent and the wine were great and well matched. Service was immaculate, the pours were generous and the atmosphere very trendy and pleasant.

I went with my two vegetarian daughters. The menu was gorgeous but unlikely to work on kids, but the chef knew I was in a tough spot and kept bringing out wonderful dishes that weren't even on the menu. The waitress was amazing and intuitive. Seeing my situation, she took excellent care of me. It's pricey, but delicious and worth... More

A native Puerto Rican working with my husband here told us we HAD to go to this restaurant while we were in Old San Juan. It is very unassuming from the outside, but once you go through the doors, you are in another world. In the words of SNL's Stefon, this place has everything! It is a beautiful room, colored... More

We enjoyed this highly recommended restaurant. It was a contrast to dining at Jose Enrique a more Puerto Rican more casual dining experience. We chose the menu with wine pairings which we really enjoyed. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. The chef delivered our main courses and chatted a bit with us. The atmosphere is very nice for fine dining.... More

This is the type of restaurant where the bar is set so high it is difficult to review since ones expectations are also set so high. Number one restaurant in San Juan is quite an accomplishment and the owner should be proud. My wife and I had the five course wine pairing meal and while I knew it would be... More

Great menu with beautifully prepared and seasoned food. Try the ceviche as a starter and the popcorn shrimp, our group had the lobster risotto (luscious), the rabbit and polenta (great), and the pork cheeks (ditto). Only complaint is that the wine list is pricey but the food really excellent.
