That quote is my husband's, repeated often when we speak of our recent dining experience at Marmelade. To further set the stage we have dined at multiple Bobby Flay restaurants, Emeril's, Guy Fierri, Morimoto ... you get the picture ... so it takes a lot to impress us. After reading all of the glowing reviews I was surprised that Marmalade exceeded my expectations. The restaurant itself is beautiful. There was a large communal table in the front, banquettes with large comfy pillows, tables with high back chairs and tables with comfortable medium back chairs. Each course and each food selection was served on different types and shaped dishes.... More

My wife and I have occasionally tasted dinners in fine restaurants in San Francisco, New York, Paris and elsewhere; this food was as good as we've ever tasted, any time or any place. The service was outstanding with our waiter Craig full of endless information whenever we asked questions. The settings were superb, with tables far enough from each other... More

From the friendly, knowledgable service to the creative cuisine, this restaurant is now one of my favorites. We opted for the six-course tasting menu but probably would have been fine with five courses--we left completely stuffed! The popcorn shrimp, kale pasta, and tuna tartar with chickpea were favorites, but it was all wonderful. We skipped the wine pairings, but they... More

Nice place and excellent menu, variety of good wines... Good service but expensive. We hardly find a table a day before for a late evening. Better to make reservation as early as possible.
