A foodies heaven

I opted for the 6 course tasting menu for $85 USD and it did not disappoint. Many dishes to choose from including a vegetarian menu. We had a reservation for Marmalade on our first night in Puerto Rico. I can't say enough about this place. We were seated at the "pillow table", as we like to call it. We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and they knew it so we were greeted with "happy anniversary" by the chef, as well as our amazing waiter... More

After attending a rehearsal dinner here last year I decided to bring my friends when we came for a girls trip. At the end of the meal collectively we decided it was the best meal of our lives! We went with the 5 course tasting menu which didnt disappoint (it turned into 6 courses because we loved the soup so... More

Just love the food, atmousphere, service, wine, bar ect. Chief Peter was always watching over all the goings on during the dinner. Coral served us on 2 consecutive nights and was one of the best in the carribean. I can not wait to retrun. Order the palella, risotto, sea bass, beet salad........ I will return!

We found this restaurant in TripAdvisor. It is a relaxed, understatedly elegant, and informal place. Unstuffy. We had dinner there on a Monday night. Early 5:30 pm reservation came at the end of about 2 ½ hours of walking around Old San Juan. Following suggestions gleaned from TripAdvisor reviews, I ordered the popcorn shrimp, the little bean soup, and the... More

The restaurant had a new age feel without the pretentiousness of other establishments in big cities. The staff were very polite and our waitress was very funny, helpful and friendly. The drinks were refreshing, the food was pleasing to the palate, rich with flavor, and not overwhelmed with sodium, fat and additives. The chef even took the time to walk... More

We had the 4-course tasting menu. The 2 apps were NYC-entree size. Excellent service. Not NYC cutting-edge, but fancy enough for a nice meal out.

Absolutely delicious! They had this option where you could have multiple small meals, the popcorn shrimp was great, the kale fredo was also reallyyyy good, best of all the beef tenderloin, and no no cake for desert

Lest be clear, is a pretty expensive and extra fancy restaurant, but is an exciting experience from the beginning to the end. Remember that what your buying here is an experience, not food, if you want to buy food go to the grocery store B-)

On our last night in San Juan, my wife and I dined at Marmalade and had a great dinner. The atmosphere, service and food and drinks justified the high TripAdvisor ranking. Our server (I think he went by Alex) was fantastic. He was friendly and professional and knowledgeable about the food and drinks. We started with the Popcorn Shrimp, which... More
