Good food

Not a huge menu but good food. The appetizers are a good size and the drinks and good. Bit on the expensive side.

We were staying at the El San Juan in Puerto Rico, and our concierge recommended dinner at the Parrot Club. I have to say, that while in PR...this was the BEST dinner I had!! The waiter, Luis was very attentive, funny, knowledgable and did an excellent job! And he makes an awesome Mojito!! I had the Caribbean spiced Grouper...with some... More

We visited here after walking around San Juan and wanting to stop for a drink. The ambience is nice. We had the ceviche and it wasn't good. It had no flavor and it came with stale plantain chips. I would prob just go back if I wanted to drink and not eat.

Some great music was playing and the food was some of the best we had in Puerto Rico. Interesting wall displays and there is a nice bit of history to the place.

The ceviche de dorado was delicious served w dried plantain chips. Our waiter Julio recommended the criollo mofungu con pollo guisado and the grilled mero. Such flavorful meals!! And we topped... Had an absolutely delicious dinner. We walked around Old San Juan with no real destination in mind and chose The Parrot based on their menu posted outside. The ceviche is to-die, the shrimp are spectacular; cooked to perfection- not over done. The entertainment was spectacular- live music at its finest. However nothing could over shadow the attention of our server... More

Good treatment of local produce and fish with Dorado entree making the grade. Sometimes it matters not how the restaurant is rated but what the kitchen does the night you are there - excellent!
