The Parrot Club is a longtime favorite of locals and visitors who enjoy a fun, friendly atmosphere, delicious Latin flavors and wonderful cocktails.Established in 1996, The Parrot Club quickly became a San Juan classic and a SOFO standard. Delicious appetizers

We were a bit too early for dinner so we decided to just have appetizers and drinks and we were pleasantly surprised! The empanadas had a delicate and flakey crust. The ribs had just the right balance of spices. The "nachos" were not the typical American ones with corn chips but guava and plantains... read more

Ate at The Parrot Club twice while vacationing. Lunch and Happy Hour/Early Dinner. Both visits were exceptional. We were with friends and all thought the place was worthy of a repeat visit. The atmosphere and customer service was fabulous. For lunch I had the nachos/plantains plate with topics and my husband had a Cubano sandwich. We shared dishes, and both... More

I thought this place was going to be a generic faux tropical restaurant and yes, decor hints copa cabana but with a modern touch that made it a very pleasant ambiance. Music was present but subtle, adding to the mood without disrupting conversation. It was very pleasant! The waiter was very energetic, fun, knowledgeable about the food, and made great... More

My husband and I stopped in for a glass of wine one afternoon and enjoyed ourselves so much we stayed for another glass and an appetizer. The wine was wonderful and the ceviche was FANTASTIC! The Parrot Club is one of the few surviving restaurants in Old San Juan that serves consistently good local cuisine. I believe that they still have live music on the weekends, which is great fun.

Local Fare that was excellent. Dined in Old San Juan and had a yummy dinner and drinks. Appetizers and main courses were all excellent, both fish and beef. Try the ribs appetizer for sure.
