The Parrot Club is right in the heart of Old San Juan. The staff is very friendly. I thought the food was fair, but not enough to warrant a return. My fish was very dry, but my mother in law loved her steak dish. One of our dishes got lost in the shuffle. It was quickly replaced and also taken... More

We stopped for lunch here on a whim. Our waiter pointed out a few suggestions on the menu for us. We had the steak empanadas and the Mahi magi tacos. Prices were were reasonable, service was excellent, and the food was terrific!

The last time I visited The Parrot Club was in 2006 and since then, the place completely changed. I had a reservation for over two weeks and requested outside seating but they ignored my request. Way less seafood options than last time and the service was unnecessarily slow. The food was average but the prices were high. I was disappointed... More

A great setting and delicious food! We were a hungry party of four, and ordered way too much food, but everything looked good on the menu. We ended up getting piles of appetizers to share, and two entrees. Sooo much to eat. The nachos feature shredded meat over plantain chips. Ridiculously good. And their mofongo is differently textured than the... More

we went to the Parrot Club for dinner with our family. The food was good, but not memorable. The fish portions were small and far too expensive. The kids choices were not great. And, despite the server repeating choices back to us, he got the children's meals wrong, and one just was not done till the rest of us were... More

The service was very inconsistent. They are at times super attentive, and then other times you don't see your server again for 30 min. We waited 40 min. for our dessert to arrive. The food was pretty good, not outstanding. Do not order the jerk chicken, it tasted like cardboard. The fish dishes were fabulous. Casual attire.

maybe it was the lunch staff but it took over 30 minutes for fried food and grilled chicken to get to the table. Adjacent table, seated much later, ordered and ate before we had a chance to eat. There only seemed to be one cook and food came out of the kitchen VERY slowly, enough so that numerous tables complained... More
