Our first dinner was so enjoyable, we returned a few nights later. The food was delicious and we highly recommend the homemade margaritas, pork tenderloin in rum reduction sauce and their flan. Nice atmosphere and everyone was pleasant. However what we really want to note is the exceptional service we received from our waiter, Joseph! He was very friendly and... More

Very cute, yummy food! We had the ceviche appetizer, which was fresh and delicious. My husband had a grouper special for dinner; I had a Latino Salad and mixed empanada appetizer. Everything was delicious! Definitely would recommend it!

Terrific restaurant! We enjoyed delicous mojitos, mahi mahi fish tacos and ceviche. The service was friendly, attentive and welcoming. The atmosphere is fun with colorful artwork and traditional music. I just wish there were a few more parrots hidden among the fun decor.

We were staying in old town right around the corner from the parrot club. Nice interior. Bar with restaurant setting. Bird theme. We went there twice. Barbecue ribs are the best. Plantain chips very good. Nice menu. Drinks were well made. Recommended to a group going by and as they left they thanked us for the recommendation. I will go... More

I visited the Parrot Club on a previous trip to San Juan and remember it as a great experience and could not wait to return. However, this experience was quite the opposite and it was not due to the food but due to our server who had such a bad attitude that it left a bad taste in my mouth.... More

We did not eat there, I can only speak for the drinks. The mojito was one of the best I had on the island. To top it off it was happy hour so the delicious drinks were only $5. Although the place seems a little touristy, the bar experience was very nice. I am very glad we stopped in for... More

A group of eight of us came here for dinner on a Tuesday night. We should have walked straight back out the door when we saw that there were only about six other people in the restaurant. However, when in a larger group, one tends to follow the herd! The next warning came when we tried to order a bottle... More

Dear Richard, we are so disappointed to read of your unfortunate experience at The Parrot Club. On such a quiet Tuesday evening you should have received nothing but spectacular service from our team. We are investigating the situation and disciplanary action will be taken. The wine situation was inexcusably due to a new wine list coming out the following day,... More

The restaurant was a bit empty but that had no baring on the food and service. Service was excellent and the food (everything we ordered) was fantastic. A bit pricey but great food.

The "special" salad was just a big bowl of chopped lettuce with a sprinkle of bacon bits. The plaintain croutons were just those little ribbon-sticks used for garnish; two were layed across the salad, each about the size of a dry linguini. Little to no dressing. This was over $10. Though my grouper with crab/shrimp topping was tasty, but the... More
