We discovered this place years ago and have been coming back ever since. The staff is very friendly and remembers us. We have never eaten inside, but the outdoor patio is very pleasant. The food is very good and very reasonable. The focus is Italian, but the Churrasco is the best I've ever had. And they have a homemade vinaigrette... More

Our group wanted a little break from the typical Puerto Rican cuisine. So we went for pizza at Via Appia. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. The patio seating was nice. The pizza was decent, nothing extraordinary, but being from Chicago I didn't set high expectations for pizza in San Juan. In that regard it exceeded my expectations. My... More

1 pizza easily serve 2 people. Service is friendly - but a bit slow. Pizzas are good - but a bit too full of stuffing even if we chose thin crust. More American style pizza than Italian.

We ate here 3x over 6 days. Great lunch and dinner menus. Suggest getting there early as the line gets long. great pizza, salads and chicken parmigiana .

Stopped by for lunch. We shared 3 appetizers, mushroom, sausage and a potato Crockett. Nothing to recommended any of them, all edible, but a bit bland. We shared a red pizza, just no flavor in any of the ingredients. Give it a miss.

I had a craving for Italian food on my vacation so I made a pit stop at Via Appia. The place was packed but I still received immediate service. I tried their baked ziti which had jalapeños and pepperoni in it. Not a big fan of jalapeños but the ziti was great; I wish the portion was bigger though. Now... More

My fiancé and I wandered through town and stumbled upon this little spot. Everyone except the people seated next to us were all speaking Spanish, so we took it as a good local spot. We went at night and it was very romantic; we sat outside where the patio is covered in string lights. The food and service we both... More
