Great food with a local flavor

If you are seeking good, inexpensive hamburgers, fries and a drink without haughty pretenses than this is the place for you (and has been for over 50 years). Great burgers and drinks with great prices. Need I say more? You won't be disappointed! I ordered a bacon and bleu cheese burger and my husband ordered classic cheddar. These burgers are hot, delicious, cheap, and totally hit the spot! I also enjoyed their house made sangria and my husband loved his deconstructed rum and coke. Perfect!!

Burgers were very good. As others have mentioned, very thick and not that wide - why do some think this is a bad thing? French fries were good, onion rings were meh. Easy to find, cheap prices, good service.

Absolutely unpretentious and ideal for people watching. Makes you wonder why MacDonalds exists. This review has 76 characters.

Don’t pay attention to those that complain about these hamburgers because of their size, or form are different from what they are used to. These hamburgers are shaped by hand from real ground beef, with no artificial flavors or additives. This is why they look and taste different from factory mass produced Burger King and MacDonald’s uniform patties. Many American... More

The hamburgers here are not great as expected, only marginally good. Even the burger's shape is wrong, too high (thick) but with a small diameter, very hard to eat without the whole thing falling apart. Perhaps the idea is to give the impression that the burgers are big, which they are not, only very thick but with a slider's diameter,... More

Our tour guide told us about this place. Amazing burger. Super cheap, fries were also delicious. This is one of the best burgers, I've had. They're kinda small, tho. I would recommend to order two if you have a good appetite or 1 1/2. I also tried the hotdog and that was not so good. Service is ok and they... More

So this place is like an institution, but the food was kinda meh. The cheeseburger had a lot meat despite its small size which i found i bit inconvenient, though i guess thats their signature style. The meat was fresh, but a bit dry and had no taste. Fries were typical fast food fries, they were ok, but nothing out... More

WOW. what an experience.... The only thing and I mean ONLY thing keeping this place afloat is its 50 year plus following of regular diners. This place is so filthy. Finally, the health department (which is practically non exitant here in PR) stepped in and required some sort of "bird control". Need I say more ? Okay , I will..... Plan... More

I used to like the hamburgers here, but the last 2 times the burgers were tasteless, maybe they changed the recipe or something. I think this place is too expensive for what it is plus its extremely hot inside, its very uncomfortable to eat while sweating a lot.
