My husband and I were both so disappointed by Ajili Mojili. We had great expectations, but those fell flat fast. The food was okay, the service was practically non-existent. Our waiter, who never gave us his name, seemed too sleepy on the job to actually tend to any of our needs. The decor was bland. A restaurant that charges that... more

We had looked forward to dinner at Ajili Mojili since it was mentioned in several articles as a place to get authentic Puerto Rican food. The restaurant itself was very nice with an upscale feel. The waitstaff was very good. The chef needs to be replaced! My husband was looking forward to the whole red snapper. It was fried to... more

First, I want to say: I cannot comprehend how the menu was difficult to decipher! The descriptions of the food weren't even in Spanish! Remember: you're in a different culture and language than the U.S. (generally)! Anyway, I ate at Ajili Mojilli with my family (a group of 5). The service was somewhat slow, but the servers constantly came by... more

Ridiculous service - a 2 hour delay between ordering and food arrival - and horrible, completely inedible food. We had to track down the manger to get any kind of concession, and even at 50% off, the food was still truly awful and overpriced. The restaurant was recommended by our hotel, several tour guides and taxi drivers. Either they were... more

Ajili Mojilli is in a beautiful restored villa in the heart of Condado with a nice water view. Despite its local cuisine, it is really for tourists......The menu is truly ambitious, the service is pleasant, but the food is mediocre. The huge menu is interleaved with full-page advertisements on the left-hand side...The first advertisement was for Prilosec......not a good way... more

dined here with two friends in Feb 09. The food was really terrific, but the menu was way too complicated. It was about 15 pages and even had a page in front on "How to Use this Menu." Menus should not need user guides. Service was decent, but nothing special. Seafood asopao and pork mofongo were really outstanding, though. more

I used my credit card ONCE during my 4 day trip to Puerto Rico at this restaurant. The next day there were $1000's of fraudulent charges on my card. In addition to trying to place fraudulent charges on my card, the food was terribly overpriced and the service abysmal, although I'm sure its tough to give good service and steal... more

Maybe our expectations were too high, but we were not impressed with Ajili Mojili. The atmosphere was nice, and the food was good (not great) but what we were most disappointed with was the service. We waited over an hour for our main course to arrive after our appetizer and our waitress ignored us (and our empty glasses) the entire... more
