On Saturday night we made reservation to watch the Flamenco at Barachina. Food and show was extremely good. I really recommend this place to have a wonderful night.

From being here 5 dayes , and eating there 3 times, have to say something.. The food is excellent, without a doubt.. One must go there to try it. Located in charming Old San Juan, can't be any better.....

This little restaurant has outside seating so it was after a long morning of walking around Old San Juan that we stopped here. There were five of us in the group and we enjoyed all our drinks and tapas. I was actually pleasantly surprised. The location is very close to the port, so easy access for cruiser. It is also... In San Juan for a pre-cruise stay, and had to stop in to try the "original" piña colada. We also ordered light lunch fare- chicken nachos, wings , and grilled chicken sandwich. All were very tasty- the salsa on the nachos was pretty zingy. Everything tasted fresh and well-made. The piña coladas were very reasonably priced for a large glass.... More

You really have to experience the Pina Colada from the place that invented them. The will make them "virgin" too for those that do not partake of adult beverages.

My husband and I had Barrachina on our list of places to eat in Old San Juan for a few years and finally we had dinner there. The restaurant atmosphere is nice, nothing overly exciting but the food and the service make up for that. Make sure to save room for the rum cake, it is DELICIOUS!

We stopped here on the Flavors of San Juan food tour. We only had a small glass of the Pina Colada. From what we had it was pretty good but maybe not the best. Will have to go back to give a better review.

The restaurant we were going to go to had changed ownership and cuisine so this restaurant was recommended. It was wonderful. Our server Jose suggested many things and all were excellent. Even though we don't drink piña coladas, Jose brought us samples. OMG. Made with fresh pineapple. So good. Jose was charismatic but totally professional.

My husband and I stopped through here since it is rumored to be birthplace of the pina colada. The pina coladas were, in fact, quite delicious--the best we had in Old San Juan I'd say! Didn't try the food. Service very friendly and prompt.
