This is supposed to be home of the Piña Colada and whether this is true or not, they are the best I've ever had. The food here is good. Fresh and unique. Try one of the local dishes, they won't disappoint. The location in Old San Juan is easy to get to although there may be a line up and... More

We went for dinner and the free Flamenco show.... definitely a cultural experience. Great service, food and the show was wonderful. Restaurant clean and high-end.

This was our first stop in our weekend trip to Puerto Rico and we were very pleased with the food and the drinks. We sat outside and enjoyed the courtyard area. They have parrots, which at one point got very loud, but after you couldn't tell they were there. Our first round of pina coladas were great, but our second... More

We found this place from a local at the cruise port because we needed a place to store our luggage. We found out that the first piña colada was made there. We tried the sampler appetizer for 2 and it was very good! We will return to this place. They also had indoor and outdoor seating:)

We had a very late flight from San Juan, so we spent the early part of the day poolside and went to Old San Juan late afternoon for some sightseeing and a late lunch/early dinner. The grouper at Barrachina was so fresh and tasty. My partner also enjoyed his steak sandwich. All in all, a good place to stop in... More

We were wondering around the streets of old San Juan looking for dinner. We are vegetarian so many options. When we had that really struck us was the vegetarian mofongo It's a plan Taine cake covered in vegetables and drizzled with a Creole sauce. We also wanted to have the black bean soup which features a hard-boiled egg on top.... More

Must get the Red Snapper. It was great, and service was a little slow, but hey, you are on the Island, and this was vacation, so all is good :)

Ok, so it's a little silly and touristy - but as long as you're in the birthplace of the Pina Colada, you might as well check it out, right? It's worth it - they're fantastic. I assure you, they're used to people stopping in just for a drink or three. Sit outside in the plaza and enjoy the sunshine. We... More

Service was fine, food a bit overcooked and salty. Went because it was in the area and we heard it was the birthplace of the pina colada
