PINA COLLIDA

Enough said they proclaim first and best PINA COLLIDA. I am usually not a fan but these were relish quaint little outdoor sitting area. Part of the bar is inside and part out service is efficient and friendly

We went here for dinner mainly drawn by the fame of the pina colada joint birthplace. Whilst the food was really tasty the pina coladas were premixed base with rum poured on top, the worst quality ones we have had in our 8 days on the island. The service was also pretty dismal. It's a shame as its a pretty... More

We stopped into Barrachina's on our port day in San Juan and found the best Pina Colada's I've ever had in my life!!!! My husband and I and two friends had Pina Colada's and lunch there!!! We only had appetizer's for lunch and they were really good. The Pina Colada's were so good my husband and I got one to... More

Our flight home from our cruise out of San Juan was cancelled due to a storm, and we had left the ship early in the a.m., with no idea where we would go, complete with our luggage and carry-ons. The taxi dispatcher at the cruise-port recommended we take a cab to Barrachina, where we could store our bags and figure... More

Stopped in to try a Pina Colada as Barrachina purports to be the drink's birthplace (word is the mixologist worked at both Hilton and Barrachina). The PC may have been invented there, but it must have been perfected elsewhere as my drink was watery and tasted like a mix. Very disappointing.

Hello Molly!! We are really sorry we could not exceed your expectations regarding your testing our Pina Colada. Maybe yours was not in the perfection state we normally offer to our customer. We take your comment very seriously and we have taking measure in order to prevent that situation like the one you describe does not repeat. However allow me... More

Came here twice we liked it so much! We came here for breakfast which was good... we were seated in the upstairs part of the restaurant, which was very nice. The service and food was good... but the PINA COLADA was the best part! Now that I know of this place I will be sure to stop by every time... More

Wonderful lunch! We sat at the inside bar. George, the BEST bartender, made us perfect Pina Coladas. The grouper appetizer was delicious. Highly recommend this charming hideaway.

Went to the evening Flamenco dinner show. Food was really good and the Pina Colada was great. Tried a local dish with plantain (canoe shaped) with rice meat and cheese. Delicious! The show was entertaining although the room is narrow so more difficult to watch from back of the room. Overall a nice evening out.

If you are coming in a day early or leaving the day after your cruise lands you will need a place to store your luggage. Barrachina is the place for you. While you are walking the cobblestone streets of Old San Juan you can safely store your bags here. You are expected to tip a few bucks per bag but... More
