Due to my great experience the first time I dined at Aji Dulce Rest., I returned with my family. The food and service was excellent and consistent, just as good or even better as the first time. I ate fried red snapper that was so fresh that I had to order a second plate! We also ordered Osso Bucco that... More

After spending the day with some great folks in El Yunque we strolled around to find this quiet place slightly away from the busyness of the port. It was nice, clean, and relaxing. We enjoyed the Shrimp Mofongo, very tasty. The window to ceiling windows were open to the street and enjoyed the evening air of Old San Juan as... More

The food was tasty but the service was poor. The restaurant was almost empty and they had about 4 employees. A couple were too busy on their phones either texting or other social media. The food was good but not worth the wait.

After reading reviews on Tripadvisor, my husband and I had lunch there while visiting in Old San Juan. We had the delicious codfish fritters other reviewers recommended. I wanted to try the national dish, mofongo, and decided to have it here with the chicken stuffing. It was very good. I couldn't eat all of the mofongo-it is heavy. My husband... More

Absolutely best cocktails, and really good food. I had red snapper - it was great. Also tried tamales - excellent. And really like their salad. Sangria was excellent. Pina Colada - unbeatable! We tried in three other places, and those never come even close to Aji Dulce. Would come again whenever in Puerto Rico.

We decided to dine here based on the reviews I read on tripadvisor. It was perfect. The staff were friendly. The atmosphere was relaxing and fun. Our view from the table looking out to the street was almost european. The waiter recommended the sangria and said if we did not agree it was the best it would be on the... More

This place serves authentic Puerto Rican food. Located in the heart of old San Juan, this place was a treat. They change the menu daily based on what fresh so the menu is always exciting. We sampled the braised pigs feet, lobster, and steak...delish!

And they were right! Great food for a better than decent price. Also enjoyed incredible classical guitar by Felix. A fantastic last night in Old San Juan.

This restaurant was recommended to me by a local. The ambiance was authentic and the servers were super friendly. Food was overrated in my opinion... From other reviews i had high expectations. My chicken was average Latin American, in fact I would contend I could get a better tasting one at a half the price on any Central American dive.... More

The food here is not the super-traditional country cooking of the wonderful El Jibarito; it is more inventive but still stays close to its Puerto Rican roots. The service is friendly and helpful; we two put in an order for enough food to feed a family of six, but the waiter very kindly scaled us back to a more reasonable... More
